J.
I also have twin girls that are 2, well actually they will be 3 in Dec. and a 4 yo boy. I was going crazy last year needing some other twin parent contact and was able to find an ECFE class for multiples. That helped me alot, mostly what I needed was to know that having twins IS different. Some things still apply but most of what the books talk about is different for twins. I really needed to hear what other parents did about "normal" stuff like sleeping, getting them to sleep and where they sleep and what not. I was also releaved to know that some people chose to have another baby after having twins, I was going crazy and could not imagine having another one after what I was going through. It must get eaiser. It has gotten eaiser. I am still amazed at how many people talk to them or us and ask if they are twins, then there is always the "oh, arn't they cute" to follow. I joined a local MOM's Club and found out that there was a set of twins in that group of 8 moms - wow. We have become friends and talk alot about the twin factor. If you would like to chat more please email me and maybe we can get our 4 girls together. : )
