I'm a stay at home mom now after having my second child and am finally getting acclimated to the schedule and balance of the day. I need to resurface into the community now and make some friends for my 2-year old in our area as well as for myself. it seems at the park I meet many nannies and grandparents. Would love to get together with other parents, especially those juggling more than one for play dates in the park. - N.

Depending on your age, I know of a Berkeley group called "Late Age" for moms who have infants and toddlers going into their 40's. We meet at Studio Grow sometimes. Go to www.meetup.com and do a search for groups in your area.

check out meetup.com. I was part of one that is for late age moms. Not sure how old you are, but it's for parents beyond 35. There are others though.
