I see Darby at DaSaka Salon in the Rosemary District and have for years. Very good!
Hello ladies! I moved to Sarasota recently and just went to Spa Bellisima for a cut and highlights. I was not too impressed with the service I received and was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a stylist and/or salon in Sarasota. I have curly hair and would like to go to a salon that uses quality products.
Thanks for the responses!! I really appreciate it. I just wanted to let you know that I decided to give the place I went to originally a second chance and have had a completely different experience ever since! My stylist admitted to being distracted the first day and has since taken more time, asked more questions, listened to my responses and done a great job. I've been very happy with the service ever since.

I found Salon Nirvana not too long ago and am pleased with them. Currently they're located near the movie theatre on Fruitville Road across from Target.
Hey S.. If you like Redken you should come down to Details salon in the Gulf Gate village. We now have a website as well.
It's www.detailssalon.biz
Hi, S.,
Heather Flannery at Guillermo's (on Siesta Dr. near intersection with 41) is great. She is awesome at color and cut, and styling. Her prices are reasonable and she is young and hip - she genuinely cares that you are happy about your hair. I've sent 3 people to her (all with different kinds of hair) and they all were very pleased. I'm not sure about their whole line of products, but she uses the Pureology on me and I love it! Her number is ###-###-####. Good luck!

There are lots of great hair stylists in the area. I've been going to Terry (for many years)and recently Wayne too, at Nuovo Salon & Spa. There are 3 locations and they are a full Aveda salon group. My hair is curly too and I love Aveda color; it doesn't dry out my hair like other brands.
Good luck finding the right one for you!
