Hi Mommies!

I am looking to switch pediatricians for our 14 month old son and our 3 1/2 year old daughter. I am just not happy with our current office. Our daughter has a moderate peanut allergy, so I would like to have a ped. with knowledge of such allergies if possible- or at least willing to do some research and help to keep me educated. Any moms out there with information on pediatricians that you love would be great! Also, do any of you take your young kids to a family physician instead of a pediatrician, and are you happy with their knowledge and service? Thanks a bunch, mommies!

I have a wonderful pediatrician I trust on my life and my kids life. He treats my kids as his own. The only thing is he is in two locations and you may have to drive a little ways. He has an office in Warren and Clinton township. The office in Warren is at common and hoover. The one in clinton twp is on Garfield and 17 mile road. His name is Dr. Berry ###-###-#### is the warren office and than you could ask them for the the other office if you want to go there. I only memorized the warren one. Good luck!

Hi T., I second the pediatric clinic! I take my 14 month old son there and have had no problems. Regularly we see Roger Abiragi and I also recommend Vondrachek and Smyka. However I'm not sure if they deal specific with allergies. Good luck!

Hi Tammy, I live in Saint Clair and drive to New Baltimore - 23 mile to take my (3) boys to the doctor. Its called:
Pediatric Clinic - ###-###-####
When you call just ask which one has more knowledge in allergys. Like I said, I drive from Saint Clair and my oldest is now 13 years old.
Good luck and let me know what you think.

I live in the Fair Haven area and have been driving down to St. John Hospital on Moross in Detroit to see the pediatricians there. They have since opened a satellite office on 23 Mile and Romeo Plank Rds. that is a great and CLEAN building. I absolutely love the pediatricians there and would recommend them to everyone. Go see Dr. DeGraw or Dr. McGahey. Dr. DeGraw is the one that does a lot of interviews for channel 4 about what's going around the area.....

The Pediatric Clinic in New Baltimore. I absolutely love Dr. Belominos. She is around 40 yrs. old, and very loving to the kids. She actually cuddles your newborn instead of leaving them just lying on the table all naked and cold. I love her. The thing with the clinic is you can make all your well visits with her, but if it's an emergency you get whoever is on call. But every Doctor in there is actually very likable. I can't think of one bad doctor in there. Just watch out for the one nurse Darlene, she's very nice, but I don't like the way she gives shots. Have someone else give the shot if possible. But don't let that swade you from not going there, it's a great office. And it's close which is extremely important when you have a sick little one.
