Seeking Friend

I was the same way you were or the friends i do have, have such a busy schedule it was hard to meet up and let the kids hang out. I have found a group call the east valley hip mamas off of meetup.com and they are great. I would highly recommend them. They always have so much stuff planned for the parents and kids and sometimes just to have some time to ourselves. Their site is http://hipmama.meetup.com/158 . I have met a lot of great people through this group.

I joined this summer when I decided to stay at home with my daughter. We are always busy and I've never once gone stir crazy from being inside all day or having a lack of adult conversation. It is the best!

I live in Gilbert also. I recommend joining MOMS Club as it has really met my need for social interaction. My son loves getting together with other kids, and it's a great support network. They brought me meals when I had my baby and I've been exposed to so many wonderful things to do with kids in the community that I had no idea existed. It's been great for me. You can come to an activity with me if you are interested. Or we can just hang out. I also have a 2 year old son who loves to get together with other kids, and a 6 month old baby girl.

Have you ever heard of Stroller Strides? I am a member and I found the group thru some advice on mamasource. You get to exercise with the baby and meet other mom's. It's a wonderful group. To find out more info, go to strollerstrides.com and search for a location near you. I think my group would be the right one...Chandler Gilbert is run by Heather. If you want, you can try a week for free.
