Anyone know of a first time mother's group in the gilbert/chandler area? I don't really have any friends with children out here in arizona ( i just moved here a year ago) and would like to get connected with mothers who also have newborns ( miy lovely boy is 7 wks old)!..it would even be better to get connected with moms who have a high needs baby like I do!!! I feel like I'm the only one in the world right now who is not getting enough sleep, exhausted and who has a high needs baby! with reflux/spit up issues ! It would be nice to know moms who are going through the same thing I am!!
hi go to MOPS.org ( it is a mothers of preschoolers organization) put in your zip code & should be a few to choose from. they are mainly held in churches. I went since my son was 10 weeks old & have had good experinces and met ladys that had been there or were going thru the same thing
Both Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center have groups for new moms. I don't think it's specifically designed for those who have given birth at one of those hospitals but you can check their websites to make sure. Hope this helps! Congratulations and good luck! :o)

check out the local moms club in your area. You can find the one closest to you by going to momsclub.org. It would be perfect for you. It is a group of moms that put together a calendar of events for the month and members can go to as much or as little as they wish. It is the perfect way for you to meet people in your same shoes. I highly recommend it!

You should take a look at www.meetup.com, you can find a group that fits your needs or even better, you can start your own! I'm pretty sure you will find what you are looking for there!
Just go to MOMSCLUB, the link should come up. They will set you up with a club in your area.
I made great friends thru this club.
You can also contact local churchs for a "MOPS" group. New Hope Church on Guadalupe, in Gilbert does "MOPS".
