Hi Moms! I'm having a ballet (or dance) party for my daughter who is turning 4. I have rented a room at the North Richland Hills Rec Center. It has a full wall of mirrors and ballet bars. I was wondering if any of you are, or know of a dance instructor who would be willing to come run a quick 'class'. I will pay this person for their time. The class will be mostly girls with a few boys. I really want this to be a great party for my daughter!
Thanks!
C.

Hi C.,

I would love to teach for your little girl's birthday party. I was a part of a dancing school for 12 years and taught dancing techniques for 9 years. I have coordinated dance recitals and marching groups and participated in dance competitions in New York.
You can email me at ____@____.com if your still interested.
I have a seven year old daughter who is enthusiastic and energetic and an eighteen year old in college and a great supportive husband.

Try calling Ultimate Dance in Duncanville. They have awesome instructors there. I am not sure if they do this sort of thing, but it is worth a try! Have fun!

Hi C.,

My daughter took ballet thru her daycare at The Children's Courtyard in Grapevine. One of the toddler teachers there also taught dance at the Dance Continuum dance school. I'm not sure if she is still at the Children's Courtyard, but you could always call and ask to speak with Miss Leah (pronounced Lee-ah). If she's still there, you could then tell her that you were referred to her by an old student and then tell her what you are looking for. I don't know if they have to contract with their dance schools and cannot teach "freelance" or not but you could give it a try. You could also call the Dance Continuum which is in Bedford (or one of the mid-cities) I believe and ask to speak to her there. It's been 3 years since my daughter took dance with her, but I would be shocked if she still wasn't teaching at this point. Good luck!
