We are relocating from the Dallas area and we need a new church home. We curently attend a non-denominational "Bible-centric" church that is small enough to get to know people really well. We are hoping to find same in the Aurora/Naperville area. We have a twaddler and an infant, so the children's programs are important to us too.

I heard the Evangelical Free Church on the corner of Wehrli & Hobson in Naperville is really good. They've got AWANA & other kids programs. I think they concentrate more on family & kids. They are a pretty big church though.
We also moved recently from Dallas and I know how hard it is to get started looking for a new church! Church of the Great Shepard is a quirky but wonderful Anglican church that meets at the College of Dupage. It is a wonderful mixture of people and all of us enjoy going. My family attends New Song Lutheran Church in Aurora, close to Naperville. We are still a growing church, and practice out of Homestead Elementary School, until we find a home. We have a tradional service at 9am and a contemporary service at 10:30am. I would like to invite you to my church, Vineyard Fox Valley. It is on Galena Blvd. in Aurora near downtown Aurora, about 15 minutes away from Rte. 59 in Naperville. We are a small Bible-based church with a dynamic, growing children's program. Our pastors are former youth pastors from Georgia and the children's church director is the current youth pastor's wife. I have personally served in all areas of children's ministry, from infants in nursery to toddlers in their own age-appropriate Bible class to youth in Sunday School. I am also a second grade teacher in the public school system. From both a parent and teacher's point of view, we have an outstanding chidren's program. Our main focus at this point is developing home-based ministries in home groups using the Purpose-Driven Life Series. Here's the info. Plainfield is a town just south of Naperville. Depending on where you are it could take you about 5 or 10 minutes to get to church. We are a small intimate group that's growing.
