Dont forget to visit AngiesList and the BBB!!!
I'm looking for a fair and honest auto repair in the Western Suburbs. I am located in the Aurora/Naperville area. My front axle broke on my 1999 Yukon and I need to get it repaired at a fair, honest and reliable price where the work is also reliable. HELP!!!
Thanks

my husband is very good at working on cars but when there is something he either doesn't have the right equipment to do the job or he just doesn't have the time, he goes to Louies car care in Oswego at the corner of 34 & Douglas. My DH usually works on my sisters car but if he can't she goes there for her '97 civic & she has built up a good relationship with them over the past couple years & feels they do a great job & are fair & won't rip her off
Naper Auto Works on Mill Street just south of the railroad tracks in Naperville.
They are south of Ogden Ave, south of Naperville North High School. We have taken many cars to them and like them better than car dealership auto repair.
A word of caution, when front axle broke on my '91 camry, I traded the car.
Go to Auto-Plus..Locations at 1175 N. Farnsworth Ave in Aurora..Called Aurora Farnsworth Auto Plus & Tire. They also have locations in Lombard and Addison. Good honest place to get your work done at reasonable prices. If you say referred by Gilbert Sosa in Glen Ellyn, we get a referral fee! They have newsletters and all kinds of "perks" as well! Phone for appointment at ###-###-####
I've had good luck with Sparks on 111th at Rt 59. I know nothing about cars, but they seem to charge a fair price and only repair what is necessary. I've taken my 1999 Isuzu Rodeo to them for the past 3 years, and I've never had a problem.
I have been taking our cars to Davis Automotive on Ogden for the last three years or so. I find them honest and reliable. My boss takes his cars to Lisle Auto Body and likes them. I have also taken my car to Naper Auto Works and have liked them, too.
Good luck!
