I would like to find a childproofing consultant in the Fort Worth area that would come to our house and provide an estimate (and installatino) on all of the childproofing we need to do to our house to ensure that our 6 month old daughter is safe. We just don't have the time to do it all ourselves, and we don't want to overlook some critical area that needs to be baby-proofed. I would love any referral contact names/numbers of vendors you might have used for the same service.

Cabinet doors, windows, stairs, electric plugs and loose area rugs can all be blocked, locked, anchored, and barred. But as mom of 5 let me assure you there is no way a parent can be 100% sure and no way a house can be 100% child proofed. Children are creative little souls who FIND ways to get into things. Mom, you can only do the best you can and I found letting God take care of the rest has worked beautifully for us. All 5 of mine are alive and well despite some of their best efforts to the contrary.
Besides, your 6 month old is wonderfully safe until she learns to walk. Only then.....
