Greenwich hospital absolutely. I've had friends deliver there and they all received lobster dinners or something else relatively delicious the next day. This hospital is so pretty. It is like staying in a fancy hotel.

Thank you
Thank you everyone, we're gonna check out at Bridgeport Hospital as it is pretty close. We heard good things about Griffin Hospital too, but it has no Neonatal facilities, so that's out. Better be safe than sorry. We'll be going to tour Bridgeport and Norwalk Hospitals I think to see how they are and go from there.
Thanks again everybody. :-)

I gave birth to both my boys at norwalk. Rooms are nice and they provide massage and special meal on day of d/c. L &D was great and post partum was pretty good too. Better with my 2nd than my first. Make sure the pedi that you pick will go to the hospital that you give birth at. My pedi doesn't go that far since we live in stratford. I was not happy with the on-staff pedi service at norwalk. NICU was great at norwalk, but not the contract service that staffs pedi at norwalk. LC's were really good at norwalk, very helpful if your plan is to breastfeed. I have had several friends deliver at bridgeport. Never heard a complaint yet. Rooms are old and ulgy, but care has been great.
Milford Hospital. Not Fairfield but close. Small community hospital. All private rooms. They are labor, delivery and recovery rooms. Great nurses. No NICU so if there are any anticipated problems it's not the best choice. I had three kids there and loved it. Good luck.
I live in Fairfield County but have given birth twice at Griffin Hospital in Derby - very close by. I cannot say enough about the overwhelmingly positive birth experiences I've had there with both my children, the attentiveness of the exceptional nursing staff, outstanding pediatric doctors, lactation consultants, etc. - even the food is great! :) Griffin is just a truly special place in my book.
My friend gave birth at Greenwich Hospital and she had a positive experience. It was a vaginal birth.
Had both my children at Norwalk Hospital. No complaints out of me.

Hi there, I have delivered both of my babies at St. Vincent's in Bridgeport and don't have any complaints. Nurses were nice, anesthesiologist was prompt (thankfully LOL), and they had a full staff swarm in the room when our first was born not breathing!! My SIL delivered all 3 of her babies at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport and she didn't have complaints either.
Greenwich Hospital was an incredible experience! 4 days, c-sec with twins.
Hi,
I have given birth at St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport. I have really liked it there. The nurses were very nice and very helpful. The rooms very comfortable. I was asked about a 100 times if I wanted Epidural, but I have declined. The doctor on-call was not my Ob-Gyn but was very nice and friendly.
Danbury is great, if you're naturally minded, they have some excellent midwives and I believe they are mother/baby friendly designated, so good for breastfeeding moms.
Bridgeport Hospital really has state of the art equipment and really good physicians and staff and a top notch ICU. My daughter needed to go to ICU (unforeseen complications) and so I was glad to be there.
