I am looking for a good 1/2 day preschool for our son. He will be 4 at the end of May. So I am looking to start him in the fall. Any suggestions on where to check/not check will be greatly appreciated.

What can I do next?

I'm not sure exactly where you are looking, but we took our children to Tree of Life on College Road in Westerville (inside the Westerville Christian Church) and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED it, especially Mrs. Thomas, the 3 year old teacher. Let us know what you decide!

You can go onto the Ohio Job and Family Services website and look up facilities in your zip code.

http://www.odjfs.state.oh.us/cdc/query.asp

This way you can see which facilities are in compliance with the child care laws too.

hope this helps,
Mel

Any Montessori school would be good. You can be sure your child will be loved and cared for properly there. I know there are other good places, but I am only familiar with Montessori.

The Dublin Community Church is wonderful, but it's usually kinda tough to get into. They used to do a lottery system, but they've just changed that this year.
