Farrell pediatrics are wonderful and is located off of Sunset Hills in Reston. Here is their website. http://www.farrellpediatrics.com/
I live in the Sterling area and send my son to child care in Reston (and work in Reston). Interested in a new pediatrician's office - one that is warm and welcoming, kid/toddler friendly and clean. Currently attend one where there are no toys and only 10 or so books in the whole office. Although I understand the desire to reduce spreading germs, there is not enough to entertain a 15 month old while you wait. Plus I was rushed the last time I went for a 15m check-up (literally had to stop him twice after he opened the door to leave - not a good feeling).

A.,
We just left Kaiser during our employer's health care open season and were desperate to find a small, warm and caring practice. Another Dr. recommended Kidsfirst Pediatrics, just off Rt7 near the Dulles Town Center. My experience thus far has been wonderful! (two babies aged 2 and 6 months.)
Very kid friendly, a room in the back with some good toys, and never had more than a couple minute wait. Both Drs are female and left larger practices because they wanted a personal relationship with their patients. Took all the time I needed and were wonderful with my kids!
The address is 46165 #210 Westlake Dr. Potomac Falls

You could try Farrell Pediatrics. They have an office in Reston.
hi, We have been going to Capital Area Pediatrics in Herndon for 8 yrs now and have been very happy with them. We mainly see Dr. Eng Tow... They have several offices though

I don't know where you are going now but I have a 17 month old little guy and we've always had a good experience at Ashburn Pediatrics. Now, I hope that is not where you are currently going because my advice will be null and void.
Unfortunately the best DR. there just retired so I'm not sure who to refer you to, but still a great office.
I hope this helped in some way, good luck :)

I know that this may be in the opposite direction to your usual activities, but Ashburn Pediatrics in Ashburn ###-###-####) is a great practice. I have been using them for 7 years and I am delighted with the service.
Dr. Anthony DiPaola. The office # is ###-###-####. The address is 1830 Town Center Dr., Reston, VA 20190

I'm not sure if you are looking for a peds office in the Sterling or Reston area, but I highly recommend Loudoun Peds. Their offices are across the street from Loudoun Hospital. They are wonderful....I cannot say enough about Dr Anya and NP Jane. There are about 8+ MDs and 4 NPs. They always accomodate sick visits the day of. Their waiting room has plenty of toys, fish tank, educational programming, etc.
Their information:19450 Deerfield Avenue, Leesburg, VA 20176 ###-###-####
Good luck!
I love Capital Area Pediatrics in Ashburn ###-###-####, they have an office in Sterling too. However, I have had an issue with one of the receptionists there this week in fact. But I have spoken with the office manager and it should be taken care of now. I love the doctors though and they have a nurse you can call during the day to ask any questions. They don't leave you waiting long at all so we haven't had the waiting room issue. They do have a tv on and some books but I usually bring toys.
HI A., I take my children to Watson-Salsbury Pediatrics (also known as Capital Area Pediatrics) which just moved to just off Sunrise Valley Dr in Herndon near the Herndon Monroe Park and Ride. It's in a complex of stores with a big Harris Teeter. THe phone number is ###-###-####. I have been happy with them. I also live in Sterling and it's not too much out of the way to take the kids over there. It's also almost in Reston although it has a Herndon address. Good luck! -A.
I have to second that recommendation for KidsFirst Pediatrics. They are right by the post office (Potomac Falls, not Sterling Park) We just love Dr. Fergusson, and Dr. McGuire is excellent as well. We have been going there for a little over 3 years. They have a nice toy room and we usually don't have to wait very long. It is really nice because it is a small practice, so we always see a doctor (the only time the appointment was with a nurse was for flu shots) and they remember things about our kids. We are not going to some huge busy practice with a bunch of doctors that don't remember us. They are so nice and never make me feel dumb and take the time to answer any questions I have at our check ups! One time I took my daughter to Pediatrics at night on the weekend and Dr. Fergusson called on Monday to check up on her. I just cannot say enough good things about them.
