Hello Mamas:
Preschool will be starting soon and I need to purchase a nap mat/sack for my son. I would prefer one that has a pillow and blanket attached. Must be durable and inexpensive if possible. I know that I could sew one as they are easy to assemble, but I do not have the time as we are selling our house and work and kids and ect..
Thank you in advance.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you mamas for your advice. I sewed one instead of purchasing it. Internet too pricey, made mine for less than twenty dollars. Bought some cute fabric and used a forty percent off coupon from Hobby Lobby.

I got my son's at The Owl's Nest in Southlake Town Square. They have several different patterns and will also monogram them.

I have an in home daycare and I use the nap mats from JCPenney's. They have a blanket attached and a pillow that is sewn in. They are very reasonable. You can catch them on sale for under $20.00. Good Luck!

I got mine from littlebrowncrane on etsy.com. You can choose your fabric and they can add your childs name. I paid a few $ extra to make the pillow removeable, I didn't want it getting lumpy in the wash.

I know that potterybarnkids.com sell them, but probably not until late July early August. When my daughter was born my friends bought us one at Salutations off of Hulesn and I-30. We love it it is so soft and comfortable. I am pretty sure they still sell them you might give them a call.

Check with the pre-school. Many require the plastic fold up kind (Mardel has these) and then you can also supply a blanket or other type of nap mat. They use the plastic ones because they can easily spray them with lysol to disinfect and then will send you home with the blanket ones to wash.

I got mine at Kid To Kid in Arlington and it has the blanket&pillow. You can Google napmats and you'll get all kinds that will pop up.

I have 4 different nap mats that I was planning on selling at an upcoming garage sale but I would be happy to give you the first crack at them. Two are the kind that roll up, come w/a small pillow, and are very easy to carry. The other two are the kind that have a vinyl (I think) cover & fold up so that they will stack easily. I think I have pictures somewhere!
