Hi, I have 2 boys (6 years and 7 months), I am looking for a good pediatrician.
I live in the Centerpoint/Trussville area and I would love a great doctor near home, but I'm open to any area.

Hi Tiffany. I use Phillip Harmon at Pediatrics East. They have two offices - one on Deerfoot Parkway and one in Roebuck close to St. Vincent's East Hospital. I have been very happy with not only Dr. Harmon, but all of the doctors in the group that we have seen. My daughter has had two pretty serious sicknesses (bacterial meningitis at 2 weeks and E-coli poisoning at 2 1/2) and all of the doctors have been extremely helpful and knowledgeable through both of those as well as the little things. As the other Mom said, Dr. Webster (a female) is extremely sweet from that group. We've also dealt with Dr. Miller in the group many times. The good thing is, the Roebuck office of Pediatrics East has extended hours. They are open later than 5:00 during the week and have appointments available on both Saturday and Sunday for sicknesses. I use Dr. Goldsmith at Birmingham Pediatrics at St.Vincent's Hospital. I have 2 daughters 14& 8 and they both love her.
I LOVE the group Pediatrics East. They have two offices, one off Deerfoot Parkway and another on Hwy. 11 near Sherwood Forest entrance. The Hwy. 11 office is also open after hours and on Sat. and Sunday which is great for weekend emergencies. We have used Dr. Harmon (Deerfoot) for about 15 years with all our children. Even if he left, I would easily switch to any others in the group. We've seen others when he was off and always pleased with each staff member. They have a lab and pharmacy. Highly recommend them!!
