I take my kids to White Oak Peds. They are near Rex Hospital. There are five drs and all are good. I LOVE Dr. Kelly and Dr. Anderson is great also, both are women if that matters. The phone number is ###-###-####.
I have recently relocated to Raleigh NC (near Crabtree/Glenwood area) & I am searching for a Pediatrician for my baby. Does anyone have one that they love & highly recommend?

White Oak Pediatrics behind Rex is the absolute best! I have a 7 mohth old and have rotated through the doctors. We like them all, but are very fond of Dr. Munt. He is to the point, friendly, has great information and suggestions for new parents, and cares.

Dr. Brenneman with Pediatric Partners. The office is located at Creedmoor and Millbrook. I have been seeing him for three years...I actually moved practices when he did. It is a small office with one pediatrician and two nurse practitioners. They have great hours, you always talk to Dr. B or an NP if you call after hours (so they always know who your kids are and their history), and the office is run extremely smoothly. I don't think I have ever had to wait more than 5 min. for an appointment. I cannot speak highly enough to the care they have given both my boys. The number is ###-###-####. They would love to meet with you and give you a chance to see the office. I also love that they have a small room designated for things like stitches, etc. so you don't have to go the ER for things like that and your child doesn't associate a regular room with something traumatic. Hope this helps
Love Raleigh Pediatrics on Falls Valley. Request Dr.s Hewitt or Dr. Chip. You'll never go anywhere else!
Hi M., we go to Raleigh Children and Adolescent Medicine. http://www.raleighchildren.com/ They are located at Rex and they have an office in Briar Creek too.
We really like this group and I can recommend our favorites from the group too if you like.
Welcome!

We use Growing Child Pediatrics at Brier Creek, and our doctor's name is Mandy. We love her! We have a 6 month old daughter, our first. Good luck! The # for GCP is ###-###-####
We are very happy with Carolina Kids Pediatrics on Blue Ridge Road across from Rex. We see Dr. Willey, but all the doctors are great. I feel like our whole neighborhood goes there.
Good luck to you and I hope you enjoy living in Raleigh!
We have been going to Carolina Kids Pediatrics on Blue Ridge Road/Lake Boone Trail since our daughter was born (3 1/2 years ago). Our "main" pediatrician is Dr. Nechyba and he is FANTASTIC with her. Really like him a lot. Have seen a couple of the other doctors too and they are all very good. A couple of great things about this practice is that they are open 7 days a week and have sick walk-in hours in the a.m. (8:30-9:15) when you don't need an appt. to be seen. We've taken advantage of that a few times.
White Oak Pediatrics. Behind Rex Hospital. Dr. Laura Kelly is wonderful as are all the doctors there.
We love North Raleigh Pediatrics. They have sick hours on Saturdays and Sundays and have a fabulous Lactation Consultant available full time. They also have sick and well waiting rooms. They are located at Stonehenge and Creedmoor. Good Luck!
Growing Child Pediatrics I have been using them for about 10 years now and they are great. They have several offices. Here is there website www.growingchildpediatrics.com.
We love Oberlin Road Pediatrics (www.oberlinroadpediatrics.com) - our main doc is Dr. Shaw, but have seen most of the others in the practice (our son had multiple ear infections last winter) and have liked them all. They are really convenient if you're closer to midtown/downtown - just down the road from cameron village.
I am a big fan of Raleigh Peds, at Falls of the Neuse/540. I typically see Drs. Kartheiser, Rusher, or Hewett.
M.,
If you're willing to travel a bit to Apex at Hwy 64 and Hwy 55, I can highly recommend Kim Ramsdell.
Good luck,
L. D.
Totally in love with Sunrise Pediatrics on Sunset Road. (off of Blue Ridge Rd near Rex hospital). It is a small practice with two full time drs and one part time. Both drs are FABULOUS. They make you feel like your child is the only one that they care about and that they've been looking forward to your visit all day. THe nurses are great too. They are really great with kids and friendly and gentle.
We get called by name every time we go in. how they remember everyone's names months at a time, I'll never understand. but they do. and The Drs prefer to see the same patients every time so when you go in, the dr knows your daughter and her history.
One time my son had a high fever and we had to take the first available appt and it happened to be with the other doctor - not our regular one - and by the time we got to the office our regular dr saw that we were coming and changed her schedule around so that she could see us.
we see Dr. Beth Murnane. the other dr is Dr Patrick Fennel. They are both fabulous! welcome to Raleigh!!!!
Hi M.,
I love my sons' pediatrician. Her name is Dr.Laura Kelly. She is wondeful. She is part of the practice White Oak Pediatrics. They are so nice! They are located on4414 Lake Boone Trail, Suite 103, Raleigh, NC 27607. The phone number is ###-###-####.
There is an older doctor there too, his name is Dr. Auman. I think that's how it is spelled. I like him too. They don't pressure you, but they give you options and offer their advice.
I'm not big on shoving medicines down my kids. I like to let their bodies heal themselves first if possible, and they support that. I don't feel pushed out the door either, they are concerned that my questions are answered. The front desk is friendly. Also they take you pretty close if not exactly on time.
We go to Capital Peds off six forks rd. LOVE Dr. Linda Butler! She's the best! We've been going there for 10 yrs, since my son was born. Since then, we've had twins, with a few probs in the beginning. We have even met them on a Sunday morning when the twins needed to be rechecked for jaundice, and then another sat eve for one baby vomitting. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
Sunrise Pediatrics, Dr. Patrick Fennell. Located off of Blue Ridge Rd. betw Rex Hosp and Art Museum. ###-###-####. He's terrific, my son loves him. Not quick to over-prescribe and really seems to take an interest in my son's growth and development. Sharon at the front desk is great, too!
I take my daughters (ages 3 and 1) to White Oak Pediatrics, in the new building behind Rex. It would certainly be convenient for you. There are 5 doctors, 3 women and 2 men. I have seen all of them at some point for something, and have loved all of them. Several of them have gone out of their way to call us and check on us, even on a weekend. I am personally friends with one of the doctors. I love going there and could not ask for better care. I never feel rushed with the doctors, feel like they listen to me, answer my questions and go above and beyond quite often. Hope this helps!
