Countrysave. It works really well, is very inexpensive, and lasts forever. I also used a little white vinegar in the rinse cycle.

I've never tried rockin green. I used to use all free and clear, but switched to charlies to help get rid of some lasting stink. It worked, but after awhile it started to burn my daughter's skin. Now I use Planet detergent. I like it and I get it from drugstore.com where you can usually get free shipping so I don't have to buy it in the store. I hear people really like both of those others, though, you might try one for awhile then the other or some other (like countrysave or planet)

Here's the website I used when I was figuring out which detergent to use...

Charlie's soap is great! Never heard of the other brand. I love Charlie's because it's a great value ($11 on amazon for 80 loads), there's no funky smells (clothes, etc really do just smell "clean"), and it isn't harsh at all. My husband and son have very sensitive skin that even some "free and clear" brands irritate, but Charlie's works great- no break outs or rashes. I would highly recommend their product. (ps, I use the powder not the liquid, this may be the difference between those with and without complaints.)

I love Rockin' Green! I have a lot of iron in my water and it really gets my diapers clean. Look at the map on their web page to see which formula will work best for your area. You can also order samples from their website to see if it's going to work for you.

We've used Charlie's Soap for the past two years. We use it for all our laundry, including cloth diapers, and it has worked great for us.

I've used both, but prefer Rockin Green, nor for performance, but because its made in Texas, where I live. If I were you I would get samples of both and figure out which one works best for you.

I've never use Charlie's Soap. I had two friends who tried a sample of it and it burned their children. I had read previously that can happen to some children, so i just stayed away from it. I have used Rockin Green and truly don't understand the hype. It didn't work for us, AT ALL. I spent all that money (my fault for not getting a sample, first) only to use it for 3 washes and be so disappointed I never used it again. We decided on Country Save. We use it on all of our clothes and cloth diapers. We have been SO happy with it! We buy it locally for around $12 a box and it lasts, for months! There is a really good chart about cloth diaper detergents and the link for Country Save below:

I use Charlies 95% of the time, occasionally using Tide or Biokleen (both scent/dye free). I haven't tried Rockin Green.

I've been very happy with Charlies, and also use it for our regular laundry as well (DH & son have eczema, which has gotten slightly better after switching to Charlies, even though I used a "free and clear" laundry soaps).

Neither. I use Arm & Hammer Free & Clear Essentials. It does a great job with the diapers and I've been using the same diapers for over 2 years. No repelling issues, no smell issues, etc.

I have heard the same concerns about Charlies that it can be rough. But I also have a friend that swears by it so go figure. But the Charlie's website does address those concerns.

I have never heard about Charlie's being rough. My kids and I have super sensitive skin and have never had a problem with Charlie's.
I have never used Rockin Green, just because I didn't want to order something scented without knowing if I liked the smell.
