with all 3 of my pregnancies i saw the baby at 7 weeks, one was a miscarriage too but you could see on the ultrasound where the sac was etc. good luck!
Hi everyone, I know this sounds stupid, but when I was pregnant with my daughter I was 7 weeks pregnant and I got to see her when I did the vaginal ultrasound. But she wasn't detected when I took my first two pregnancy test when i was a couple of days late on my period I guess cause of the HCG level. She was detected at 7 to 8 weeks. Now I am pregnant again, and I took a test after being four days late and it showed that I was pregnant. I also went to doctor and they couldn't see anything yet. Don't you have to be at least 8 to 10 weeks to see anything yet? I had the signs cause of frequent urination and also cramping of course with no bleeding. I guess I get worried cause last time I saw my daughter right away and I haven't seen this one yet. I think I might be 4 weeks pregnant. Last month I spotted for 3 days only when I wiped, My doctor said it was still considered my period. I guess it was because they don't see it yet. The period before that was a normal one too me. This new doctor I have is fairly new. She took my old doctors spot so I think she is still kind of learning. Any thoughts would help right now. I go in next week for prenatal paperwork and then to see her again to see if we see baby yet.
well everyone I finally saw baby yesterday meaning 10/22/08, and everything is fine, saw little heart beat. I am currently about 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. Everything is great. My doctor is a real idiot so I have currently changed to someone else. She is not consistant on what she says or confident. My other doctor left so I am really sad. But otherwise things are well.

I was 6 weeks when I saw mine with the vaginal ultrasound.
Hi R.,
With my son I didn't get an ultrasound until 12 weeks and there he was.
Now I'm pregnant again. I went in the week after a positive test and they couldn't find anything at four weeks. Or 6 weeks. Or 8 weeks. It wasn't until I was 9 weeks pregnant that they could find a baby. There was a sac there, but no baby. I was really scared at first, but I just had an ultrasound at 16 weeks and there's a healthy baby and everything is just fine.
Perhaps you just need to wait it out. Wait and see. It will be so exciting when you finally do see your baby!
Best wishes to you!
Hi,
We saw our baby at 6 weeks. I went to the Dr. at 5 weeks and the vaginal ultra sound showed the sac but no baby (we were devistated-we had 3 miscarriages already). I went back at 6 weeks and we could see the baby. So go back and have them look again. You might not have been far enough along. Good luck!!
I had a vaginal ultrasound done when I was 5 weeks because I was worried, and they couldn't see anything, no baby, nothing. I went back for an appt at 7-8 weeks and there they were, TWO beating hearts. It can all depend on when the egg emplanted. Small amounts of spotting are normal and can be from the egg emplanting. I hope everything turns out well.
I had implantation bleeding with my first: just spotting when I should have had a period.

Yes, every pregnancy is different. Esp if this one could be 2 - ha ha right... well, I do hope for the best. Remember when you worry for nothing, you make it worse- so if there is nothing to worry about, don't worry. The doc will see you next week and Im sure you will the beautiful baby looking at you wondering why all these bright lights??? Ha ha . Take care and God bless.
