We eat out alot(way more then we should) so for Valentines day I want to go somewere different.. Anyone have a special family resturant (this is the kids (12/15) year to go to dinner with us).. we live in east Mesa but willing to have a nice drive..
Have you tried San Tan Flats? they have outdoor seating / firepits, can bring stuff for smores I believe. live music,,,,,, different and fun! Some eat inside and then go outside. GREAT for kids and adults alike!

If you are up for a drive and like steak you could try Riatas Pass in north Scottsdale. Very authentic wetern atmosphere. There used to be live bands on the weekends. Some of our other favorites are, Joes BBQ on Gilbert road, Joes Farm Grill on Ray and Higley and Liberty Market on Gilbert road (across from Joes BBQ). Have fun!!!!
Buca de Beppo (one on Val Vista and Baseline/60 fwy, NW side) is really good and serves italian food family style. Have fun!
Benihana - www.benihana.com/ - Super cool place for a family to go, the chefs entertain you with their cooking and they cook right at your table. Very entertaining. It is quite amazing what they can do with their knives and flipping of the cooking utensils.
