Anybody have any recommendations for good kids consignment/resale shops? Preferably ones that have more name brands (gap kids, polo, etc.) ? I'm in Eugene...

thanks!

--The 2 that I use most are in the Bothell/Lake City area. There is a small but good one on 15th and 95th in Lake City --- and another on the Bothell Everett Highway in the area of Thrashers' Corner ( near the Fred Meyer) -- sorry I can't tell you names -- my brain doesn't retain 'em -- I just drive there ( call it early senility)

Kid to Kid in Covington right off the exit. They get overstock that's brand new and only except clothing in great condition. I spend 200 there and got clothes for all 3 kids for school. Abercrombie sweatshirts, gap, old navy, even some snowboarding and Nike for the boy. Love it there! It's pretty popular too.

Hi M.,
I am not sure where you are but look at just between friends or jbfsale.com They have big sales in various areas. I saw that they will have a big sale in Issaquah, Renton and at the Puyallup Fair Grounds various weekends in Oct.
In Sumner there is Sugarbabies. It is a darling boutique of new items and half of the store is consigned clothing. They also have maternity clothing too. If you go there make sure to ask for a punch card if you buy something. Once you spend $100, your next purchase is $10.00 cheaper.
Another place in Puyallup is the Kids' Depot. They just moved to a new location and have good stuff (at least that is what I have found) but they are pricey. I have consigned stuff there to build up credit at their store and use it to buy things.
Good luck!

Hi M.-
If you come up to McMinnville, New To You on Hwy 99 is a great consignment shop... I rarely walk out of there without finding something good, and the prices and condition are excellent.

If your son is only 2.5, I don't think that he cares about brand names...but, if you do, you can try TJMAXX (not resale, but often discounts on polo stuff - about $12 pre shirt or pants). I would try stores on the East side (there is on in Issaquah on Gilman and 17th). Good luck!

what size cloths are you looking for... if you check out the craigslist.com you can normally find some pretty good deals. if you are around military bases, talk to some of the military wives and i'm sure they have some sort of base/post forsale website.

Love Love Love "Me-n-Moms".

There are a few .. one in Issaquah, Ballard, Lynnwood and a few others. Not only are they picky about their "used" consignment items -- they have great affordable high end stuff as well. I bought ALL my Robeez shoes (brand new!), Stride Right, and See Kai Run shoes there brand new in the box for much much less than the stores. They have everrrrrything. Dont miss it.
