i may not be the only one having this but i feel like im the only one whose very frustrated by it. My face is pretty clean so i usually don't wear make-up however now a days i seem to be using it more and im in my early 20's. I have red cheeks and it's not the kind from blushing...more of pinkish then red but it's enough on my face to drive me mad. Is there any cream out there or something i could use so this can be removed?! i appreciate your time in reading this and hopefully responding. thanks a bunch!

What can I do next?

I have had a problem with red cheeks and a red nose. Three years ago I started drinking GoChi (a Himilayan Goji Juice made by Freelife). The redness has gone and my skin, nails and complexion has never been better. There are more health benefits as well. You can find out more at www.bhappy.freelife.com

it isn't a cream you need, it is proper nutrition- the red cheeks are a sign missing nutrients- if you handle that then the warning sign will go away- if you don't handle that the symptom will continue, and you'll get other indicators as well- check with WestonPrice Foundation.com,&/or Dr. Bruce West, and his HealthAlert, you can find both on the net. Also contact me if you would like to about how to get more personalized data.
Really Dr. West is amazing and I think you'll find your answer there.
Please don't mask the sympton- the deficiency will try to get your attention in another way!
in great health-k

Hi,

Have you thought about a Dermatologist? It may be something that you need some professional help with. I'm not try to scare you, just that it may need a prescription. I have dark spots that came up after my first son was born and I had to get a prescription to get them to go away. Just a thought!
Hope this helps!

It sounds like Rosacea to me. I was diagnosed with it in 2003. Go see a dermotologist. I use a RX cream at night. I also use a daily moisturizer with SPF each morning that I bought OTC. I just started that because my skin got so dry after I had my 2nd baby in November.

I have the same exact thing. I went to a dermatologist and she said it is Rosacea. I'm using a prescription cream, Finacea, and I had been using Metrogel, but I'm sorry to say there hasn't been much improvement.

But my dermatologist says it's very important to keep using the prescription cream everyday, because without it rosacea can get much worse, it's a progressive condition.

I found a light foundation by Maybelline that I've been using on my cheeks and chin, it covers it completely and looks pretty natural. Send me an email if you'd like some makeup tips on covering the red, I've gotten pretty good at it.

Good luck!

Hi L.,

Please see a dermatologist to rule out rosacea. The other possibility is lupus. I happen to have both and cause similar malar rashes. You could have neither! And if you have one of those 2, you will be fine. I live a normal life with just a few extra steps to keep well and look good! :) Just get it checked out so you know for sure. I don't have particular rheumatologist to rule out lupus, but your primary doc can do blood tests to help check that out. I do have a recommendation for a dermatologist -- He's FANTASTIC. One of those few docs with tons of experience and still does what he does because he cares about people. His name is Dr. Robert Norman and has several locations. Ask for an appt with him specifically. Take care!!

You might have Rosacea. For most this is a lifelong challenge, but there are some nutritional and topical products that can help it. I can discuss this with you more from a nutritional point of view, once you have a diagnosis from a physician. You may have permission to contact me privately if you want to discuss this in more detail.

L.,

I hope that you had a great Mother's Day. Being an older mom my suggestion would be for you to go to a doctor and get your blood pressure checked. Also speak to him or her about the problem. I wish you the best.

I was told that Eucerin has a line called Redness Relief that helps with, of course, redness. Good luck. There is nothing wrong with wearing makeup, it acts as a barrier against the sun. Also, don't forget to wear sunscreen every day of the year.

It could possibly be the beginning of Rosacea... go to a dermatologist to find out for sure. He can give you medicine that may help. I also carry a product in my skin care business that has been a great help - but I am not a doctor... so go there first. Then let me know if you would like my help. I do have a degree in Chemistry and Biology and 10 years of medical laboratory experience. If you do want to try what I have it comes with a 100% guarantee (and the prescriptions don't! ) :-)

My 10-year old daughter started experiencing red cheeks earlier this year. it became increasingly worse and the inflammation is controlling her life. She has been to the family doctor, the dermatologist, specialists at the children's hospital, and all of her blood work has come back normal. she's tried every cream under the sun, all with no relief.
I finally found a doctor of natural medicine who found out that my daughter has a food intolerance. the method to the madness is that once you remove the food that is causing the injury, your skin inflammation will go away. this does take some time and patience is needed, but it will work! I would highly recommend a doctor of natural medicine as your next step. finding out your food intolerance (nutrition) may very well be the answer to your problem.
