Woohoo!! I am pregnant!! We have been trying for 18 months and we were able to get pregnant naturally! Long Wait.. it was all in God's perfect timing~ We are soo excited!!!
I am looking for a good OB-GYN doctor in Folsom. Do you know of any good ones that you would recommend and what made them a good one?? I am a Registered Nurse so I am around MD's all the time. I am out "shopping" for one in this area! I have Western Health Advantage insurance.
I just had my baby at Folsom..my delivering doctor was doctor Haskins and she was great. Although I did not have her she was a blessing in the delivery room. Just thought I would through that out there!!
I have a new dr. through Kaiser so I don't think that will work.

Congratulations! So exciting!! I go to "Folsom Ob/GYN Medical Group. They are located at 1735 Creekside Dr., ###-###-####. They have 3 wonderful doctors and the staff is great. Beautiful office and the latest technology. www.folsomobgyn.com I just started with them, but have friends and family that went there and loved it.

I currently go to Creekside OB/GYN, Dr. Timothy Phelan's office and it is great. Dr. Phelan and his nurse practitioner are Ausome. They take time to go over and answer all of your questions, they make sure that you are comfortable, the staff is very helpful and understanding of your wants and needs. Dr. Phelan is very mellow and easy to talk to and I can tell that he is genuinly interested in why I am there and what I need to see him for. I hate going to a doctors office and the doctor or the nurse practitioner you are seing dont even look at you when you are talking. Dr. Phelan and his nurse practitioner are not like that at all. One day I needed to get in ASAP and I called and they were able to get me in right away. I feel like they really care about their patients and I am happy to have found them to be my OB/GYN. :))))))
I have the same as Stephanie - "Folsom OBGYN". I really like all three doctors - I've had experience with all of them. Dr. Cragun delivered my son, Dr. Gordon delivered my daughter and Dr. Sterner-Sosa helped us with our miscarriage. They make sure you see all of them during the course of your pregnancy so that you will know whichever one delivers your baby. They are all concerned with my needs and always answer all my questions. They are very skilled and professional. I have recommended them to friends before and my friends have been impressed by them as well.

Dr. Carter in Folsom on Creekside Drive near Mercy Folsom Hospital is wonderful!!! I saw Dr. Carter (male) only a few times and mostly Dr. Gordon (female). She is almost ready to go out on maternity leave with her 3rd child though. They are both very easy going and made me feel very comfortable in their office. Good luck!

I had an OB in Folsom and had the WORST experience ever! Please do not go to Dr. Timothy Phelan. If you go back and read my posts you can see what happened. Having said that, Dr. Haskins (who another mom mentioned) assisted at the birth of my daughter and she was great. My friend had three babies delivered by her and loved her. All of the nurses at Mercy Folsom go to Dr. Kruger. A couple of my friends do as well and they LOVE LOVE LOVE him. Both Haskins and Kruger are on Creekside Drive in Folsom. Good Luck!
