I came across a natural remedy called Kiddie Boost made by Native Remedies. Has anyone ever heard of this product? If so, is it safe? Does it really work? With the "flu" season here and already experiecing the "swine" flu in my home over the past two weeks I am trying to take all the precautions necessary to cut down our chances of getting this crud again. My twins contracted it first, then my hubby, and well me I haven't gotten it so far and hopefully I won't. If anyone has heard of this stuff I would love to hear about it and also know "where" you purchased it from. The vitamin and herb shop where I live didn't even carry it so I resorted to looking online and found a site that sold it for $27.00 per bottle or buy two and get the third for free so may end up going there.

My then 28 mth old was getting sick every 2 weeks, I became disillusioned with the drugs our pediatrician was prescribing, I ordered 3 bottles of Kiddieboost and I tell you not a word of a lie, my daughter has not been sick since, that was 6 mths ago. I live in Hong Kong, we unfortunately have a lot of polution and flu season is particularly pervasive here, still she has been happy and healthy. I attribute this amongst other things to Kiddieboost. Highly recommended

We take Vemma and have had great success in not getting a lot of the junk that goes around. My kids love to take it and ask me for it every day. My husband and I take it too. I buy it from an incredibly knowledgeable mom and former Chef. Her name is Juliet. You could email or call her. I am sure she would also give you an honest opinion about the product that you mentioned above. If it is great she would tell you the truth. ____@____.com phone: ###-###-####

CA- I'll tell youwha tI give my kids and they hardly EVER get sick!!! I give them juice plus gummies or chewables- depending on wha tthey like better...if they start sniffles or coughing - youcanbuy at harrys or health food store or even some Krogers that have good organics sections - it's awesome- its called sambucus syrup it has black elderberry , vit c and echinichea in it- I swear by it- my kids have never took a cold longer than 2 days because of it!
and also a probiotic- jarrow brand at harrys, whole foods or natural health foods is best- but you could even buy culturelle from publix and mix it with applesauce, yogurt.
Good luck!

I purchase natural products that are made from oils from plants or trees, fruits, natural enzymes, herbs, etc. This company has a product that will boost your immune system for a price of $10.64. Vitamins and minerals will also boost your immune system for a price of $19.99.

Chances are the ones in your family that have had the flu now have a natural immunity (which is typically stronger than gaining immunity through a shot) and won't get it again.

If you want to boost their immune systems, Kiddieboost looks good, but expensive. I have used Floradix kiddie vitamins which is around the same price. I would head towards a Whole Foods or other HFS (Health Foods Store) and see what they recommend. You can get echinacea (cone flower)in other forms for much less. We have an echinacea/goldenseal tincture that we use from Earthfare, large bottle is about $11.

Research has shown that Vitamins C & D are very important to immune health. A LOT of people are Viatmin D deficient.

In addition to a multi-vitamin right now we supplement with a Vit C. & Vit. D. So far so good. But in all honesty, with just following the rules of good nutrition (cut out refined sugars/processed foods & cereals) you can maintain your bodies immune function. Lots of fruits and veg, and lots of leafy greens.

Hi CA,

I work for Native Remedies, so obviously I am biased. I have used our other remedies for preventing colds and am happy with the results. A wife of a co-worker came down with swine flu about 2 weeks ago; he started taking ImmunityPlus and he hasn't caught it.
