MONEY is always a good gift to give. It's the right size and color.
Our family has been invited to a quinceanera ceremony/party for one of our son's friends. We are looking for some gift suggestions for the event. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Really depends on how much you want to spend. But gift cards always work maybe to Sephora's or a North Park mall card. Maybe even a Coach wristlet.
All this is, is a birthday party for a girl who is coming of age and is considered now a young lady. SO what you would get a sweet 16... is similar to a quincenera.
Hope that helps.
Perfume, photo album, purse, wallet, lotion set,..basically anything a 15 year old likes
Considering the history of the Quincenera celebration (introducing the girl as a woman to her community and her Church) you may want to consider either cash or jewelry.
It is a beautiful tradition and very much feels like a combination of a Debutante ball and a wedding! Very formal (long evening gowns) and it typically lasts for the entire day and night.
I had the opportunity to be a "dama" for a childhood friend and it was a lot of fun! My parents gave her a gold necklace that had her monogram on it. Most of the gifts came in small boxes or in envelops!
Cash.
Or a James Avery necklace? (I'm sure James Avery makes a "quinceanera" charm. But if she gets 5 of this same gift, that'd suck. So ask about a gift reciept before buying one).
Jewelry, gift cards and money. Kids love money.
