I would donate it to a battered women's shelter (they are probably in some anguish) or a homeless shelter.
My daughter is a year old, She is no longer taking baby formula. I have 6 cans of gentle enfamli and about 30 jars of baby food, and oatmeal that she wont eat, and she wont drink the juice
Any suggestion on how i can get rid of it? sell it or something?
Thanks so much for the suggestions. I was planning on donating it for some family to need. But I Just talked to a old high school friend of mine. She does not recive wic for her son and he is 6months old , SO i gave her the formula and the juice and the food that i had here . thanks .
I would donate it to a battered women's shelter (they are probably in some anguish) or a homeless shelter.
You could try selling it on Craig's List. However, my suggestion would be to donate it (local food bank, salvation army, woman's shelter) and take the tax write off.
Donate it - food bank, homeless shelter, battered women's shelter, etc.
I'd look into giving it to a women's shelter
check with your local food bank or helping hand type center.
If you call up your local WIC office or something like that they can give you lots of names for shelters and places that really could use that.
I had about 300diapers that my MIL bought by mistake, they were the wrong size for my DD. So I donated them.
If it's unopened a food bank or shelter would probably gladly take it, use it and need it! I've given ours to the food bank before.
donate! Lots of babies need food in this country, breaks my heart.
I am not sure of where to sell it but I know that a food bank or shelter for women would really appreciate it.
DONATE it to a food bank, women's shelter, or pregnancy resource center. Who cares about a write off....do some good with it! There are many people out there that would appreciate the help. You will be blessed by GIVING it to someone that NEEDS it.
Donate it to a food pantry like at a social services agency or church.
If it's unopened you can sell it on craigslist. Otherwise I would donate it to a local food pantry.
In my area, the pediatrician's office takes formula. The county center (where they do immunizations) might also take the food and formula.
You can use baby food in recipies. You can make pea soup out of peas, pureed fruit can go into pies, etc.... Boxed oatmeal can become cookies.
Juice can be drank by you, or when you make jello, replace the cold water portion of the recipe with the juice. Yummy. You can also freeze the juice in cubes, then add it to a blender with a banana or strawberries and make a smoothie. You can even make smoothies out of the enfamil......
Chekc with a church in your area, if you don't belong to one. They will usually take it.
Your local church would take it :)
You could take it to a women's shelter or there is a place in Auburn Hills called Crossroads that appreciates all donations like this.
