Prefolds, Fitteds, Contours?

Here is another cloth diaper question from me, haha.

What is a good shell or cover to use with pre-folds. Also do you prefer pre-folds, fitteds, or contours, and what brand. Snappis or pins?

For pocket diaps I just purchased some Fuzzibunz and Rumparooz and inserts from babykicks, they are Joey-Bunz brand. I am so excited to get them, I feel like a kid on Christmas!

What can I do next?

I love the FLIP diaper system. They are covers and inserts. We have used them since my daughter was 15 months and she will be two in a few weeks, they have grown with her beautifully. We use them day and night. In fact I just ordered the newborn inserts for our new little girl due in March. I love that we will be able to use the same covers with both girls just snapped differently. I know what you mean about getting diapers and feeling like a kid on Christmas!!!

I love prefolds. I have used one "fitted" it doesn't fit my son around wise, but is still good to use because you would have to snappi it, but I don't so it still fits. I use snappi's because they are easier.
I love Thirsties original and Duo. Duo's don't fit my son properly because he is so chunky, but he's thinning out so I want to try them again.
Bummies Whisper Wraps are nice and big, so I use them for night time because I can stuff so much extra fluff in there.

I love my prefolds with bummis covers. Really, though, I got those because they were one of the cheapest when I started cloth diapering. I'm not sure if you are pg or starting later, that makes a difference too. I use pins, I could never get those snappis to work for me, but I know others who love them. Bummis also have great organic unbleached prefolds. I did get a few kiwipie diapers with my third child that snap and are great for sort of training pants around the house and a bit easier to change. He is 15 months and only really wears a cover when we are out of the house. Enjoy your ride! I know I LOVE getting cloth diapers, also I don't know where you're from, but this weekend is the Happybottomus (the only brick and mortor cloth diaper store in the kansas city area) diaper swap where people bring their gently used cloth diapers to sell, you may be interested. It's by Whole Foods at 93rd and Metcalf in OP.

ps. most people who use cloth love to talk about it, so don't worry about the questions!

Thirsties are my favorite cover. Great fit and I've never had a leak. I've never used contours but do use both fitteds and prefolds. I prefer fitteds but was given a large number of prefolds so I use them as well. I use a snappie because I just couldn't get the hang of pins.
