My twin boys are only 18 months and not ready for potty training yet, but I thought I'd ask for suggestions as to what is the best type of potty-toilet to get for them when they are ready? I wanted to make sure that I get the right type for boys and for an easy transition to the big toilet. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

I used the baby Bjorn potty chair. My husband had a different potty he used for his daughter, but it didn't work for my boy because boys "splash", so getting a potty with a splash guard is good. Also I liked the baby bjorn (the bigger one) because it had a solid bottom and didn't tip. Easy to clean as well.
My son was a late start at 3 yrs. Good luck.

I used the "Peter Potty" with my son - it's like a mini urinal. It worked great!! Check it out online.

for my son, it was too much trying to get him to learn how to stand and 7 pee on a stool. I found little potties were a mess cause he would go, then try & empty little potty. MESSY MESSY! I found a toilet seat that has a flip down childs seat. It is perfect for girls & boys!! my son sat to pee when he was first getting the hang of it all, but now he stands and the seat is easdy for him & my daughter to flip up or down and the seat is great so they can relax for their other business and not have to fear falling in. Plus their is nothing extra taking up space in the bathroom. Kids learn to flush big potty and use big potty, so no washing little potty!! I highly recommend it!! best of luck.

I used the fisher price musical potty for my grandson and it plays music when they use it and so it made him much more excited to go in it. I would be interested in Cdm2kk tell us what brand, etc. she used as our daughter has twin boys to potty train soon. Also I'll tell her about the baby bjorn.

Bear in mind... boys are often later... in pottying.

For me, I used the Baby Bjorn potty chair. It is for girls AND boys.
