I am looking for a unique place to have a small birthday party for my 6-year old. Does anyone know of a pottery place offering pottery pieces for the kids to paint, hopefully in the northwest area of Houston, or Spring? Thank you!

We've been to a couple of birthday parties here and my kids have enjoyed it!
Contact Michaels Arts & Crafts stores. My daughter's been to craft parties held there and seemed to enjoy it.
There's also a place called Barbara's Pottery on Spring Cypress, about 2 miles west of I-45. You might try there as well.

I had my daughters 9th birthday at a place called Pottery Wheel in the Champions area. It was a good deal for little money. They pick out a piece to paint and then you pick them up about a week to 3 days later. I got lots of great reviews from the parents. Good luck and have a great time.
I take my 4 year old to Art Shop for Kids on Louetta west of Champion Forest to paint ceramics. She absolutely loves it! The people there are so nice and they really cater to the kids. Unlike other places I have been, they don't mind if she uses a rediculous amount of paint. I have been there a few times when they have had parties and it seemed to be well organized.
