YAY! Good for you!!!! I know that feeling and it's great to have that accomplishment DONE! :)
Just some words of hope for all of the frustrated moms of kids who will pee but not poop on the potty. :) My daughter will be 3 in 2 weeks and has been "pee trained" for 7 months but issues with constipation/stubborness. She couldn't be poop trained. Well, today, randomly, she said, "Oh no! I gotta go poop!" She then ran to the toilet and went poop!!!!! Yay!!
Has it been so random with your kids too?? She did this twice today, so that tells me it just finally sunk in!! I can't be more proud!

From the get go of MY Bethany's potty training, The day she had to poop, I found her vice...Ice Cream. I actually held the pint of cookies and cream out of the freezer and in plain, clear, non-baby english said, "if you poop in the potty, I'll give ya a scoop"...My DD trained on a Monday....NOT once has she had one accident, not night, or day.
BTW, The ice cream bribe only lasted that pint....she just went after that.
You just have to find that vice...all kids are different!!!!
Yes, my three year old boy did the same thing. When he was 2 1/2 I decided to put regular (scoby doo, spongebob, etc...) underwear on during the weekend to train him. it's not easy. he kept doing the same thing over and over again. he would go and pee but since he had constipation problems he wouldn't dare to potty on the toilet and would go on the underwear! It took a few months but all is good now.
My son refused to go poop on the potty, just flat out refused! We tried so many techniques: picking out his own cool undies, sticker charts, timers, you name it. Nothing worked and everyone was frustrated.
So we just dropped the issue. If he asked to try, we let him. If he pooped in his pullup, so be it.
One day after we stopped all the attention and 'teaching' surrounding the issue, he simply woke up one morning and said "I'm not going to poop in my pants anymore". And that was it.
I was shocked. I didn't believe that we would actually be done but once we let him take the lead he has been successful.
