I used to have this problem but it seems to me that most companies have come a long way when it comes to dealing with sensitive eyes. However, I don't have nearly as much flaking with Almay.
All the ones I've tried bothers my eyes, do you know of one that is good for sensitive eyes, thanks mamas!!!

I have sensitive eyes. My issue is between sensitive eyes and getting if off at night. I like Cover Girl Professional mascara in the blue tube. Come off easily with soap and water or face cleanser, and it doesn't bother my eyes.
Neutrogina makes a mascara for sensitive eyes. I have used it for years, ever since I started wearing contacts. It doesn't smudge either if you wipe your eyes. It's a beautiful thing.
Clinique also has great mascara for sensitive eyes!
Remember which ever one you get most places allow you to take them back if they bother your eyes(kmart, rite-aid, walgreens, wal-mart.... Even the one from the mall!!!) Good luck with finding the lucky one!
Almay makes a nice mascara specifically for sensitive eyes.
Mary Kay lash lengthening mascara. All mk products come with a 100% guarantee
I sell a mascara through Arbonne. It is hypo-allergenic, vegan, no mineral oil and completely botanically based. Excellent for people with sensitivity issues. Of you would like to try a FREE sample please email me at ____@____.com or call me at ###-###-####
Almay works well for me. It is targeted to contact lense wearers so it won't flake.
I like the Bare Minerals mascara as it's made from bees wax rather than a lot of unnatural products. Since switching to this mascara my eyes aren't as ichy and I simply can remove it with water on a cotton ball rather than the oily eye make up removers. Good luck!
Sei Bella. It's manufactured by a registered pharmaceutical company that specializes in natural products. Everything is safe. I love their cosmetics as well as their skincare. Let me know if you'd like some info and I can pass some along....

I also have very sensitive eyes and cannot use most mascaras, liner, and shadows, that are sold in drugstores, or cosmetics counters. I purchase all of my make up at Whole Foods, or similar health food stores. The best Mascara that I have tried that does not bother my eyes is Dr. Hauschka. It's a little pricey but worth not going through having soar, puffy, red eyes. https://store.drhauschka.com/b2c/ecom/ecomEnduser/items/i...=
Good Luck!
I like Mary kay mascara and eye make up remover. both good for sensitive eyes. if you can not do mary kay then almay is pretty good and you can buy that in the store
I also have extremely sensitive eyes. Even tap water, if it has a high chlorine content, can bother them!
The only mascara that I can wear w/o it bothering me is L'Bri Pure n' Natural. Did you know that most mascara has SHOE POLISH in it?!?! Gross! No wonder why it bothers our eyes!
Their skincare line also doesn't bother my eyes at all & takes off my makeup (including eye makeup) easily & thoroughly.
I can give you a link to look at it if you like. Just lmk! But it is EXTREMELY reasonable in price (much, much less than what you'd buy @ the makeup counters!) & is excellent quality.
I love it!
