Hey everyone please say a prayer for one of my husbands long time friends. their 8yr old daughter and 10yr old niece went missing yesterday.
Their bikes were found at lake near the interstate but no other clues. they were last seen Friday at 2pm.
If any of you are near waterloo/evansdale ia they are meeting all day any time at the evansdale fire station and broke into search groups if you want to help.
If your not near us please help by saying a prayer for the family and everyone searching for these two girls.

After searching for 10 hours and about a 1000 people showing up if not more... unfortunately we are no closer knowing any info than we were when we found out they were missing yesterday. we will be back out there at 8 am tomorrow..
Its just so draining and i think more mentally than physically not knowing anything.
The kids from decorah were found. these girls are from evansdale ia. thank you again. we are heading back out now for a new day lets hope for some news.
I have a friend that lives close to there, she belongs to a motorcycle group from there. She said she would pass it along.

Just looked up the article about this case (searched "decorah ia girls missing"). What a terrible story! I'd be frantic -- my kids are 8 and 10 and I won't let them ride without me. I always feel like maybe I'm being overprotective, but they'll just have to put up with my hovering a little bit more.
I grow up in Waterloo and most of my family is still in the area. I just posted the KWWL link to my facebook so that all my friends and family in the area can possible help in some way.
My prayers are with the family. Hoping for a safe and quick return.

I can't do much but I did share the articles with my FB friends who are across the globe. I asked them to pray for these girls and that they be found quickly. My heart breaks for them and the friends and family.

I saw this story on line. It's heartbreaking and we all pray for a swift and positive resolution.
Although I dont pray, I ask for these girls to be found. As a mom I can't even begin to imagine the hurt and desperation your friends are going through!
