Hi Everyone!

My son is about to be 21 months old and he was diagnosed with sensory intergration in April. He has therapy a few times a month but he has to go to a nueroligist to be sure everything is okay with his brain. He has issues since he was born and my medical bills keep piling up. We have health insurance for him but it's not a very good plan. I just can't afford a decent plan for my family which I'm sure is the case for a lot of people. I was just wondering if there was some government program that I could give me some assistance. I want to do whats best for my son but I feel like I'm never going to get out of debt with all of these medical bills.

Also wondering if anyone knew of a place that was hiring for a part time receptionist or any type of office job. I work for a retail store right now and they just can't provide me with the hours I need. I have searched for office jobs on just about every web page but most of them have hours that I can't work. I also wouldn't mind doing some data entry from home if anyone knows of a job like that. I just can't put my son in day care right now otherwise I'd work full time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

J. P.

Thank you everyone for your advice! I have made some phone calls for children's medicaid so I am trying to get the paper work filed. I'm praying that everything works out with that! Thank you so much. :)

The State of Texas has a program called "Children with Special Health Care Needs" (CSHCN). You have to qualify, which it sounds like with your medical bills you would, and then they will help with expenses such as medical bills, hotel costs, travel expenses, etc. even if you have insurance. If you will e-mail me directly at ____@____.com, I will give you the name and phone number of someone you can contact.

Hi J.,
you may want to try Easter Seals so see if they can help in anyway. Easter Seals phone number is ###-###-####. If your son needs speech, occupational, and physical therapy they come to your house and provide that service free of cost.

Good luck,
Elisa

Try applying for the CHIP program. It's medicaid for children.

Their number is: 1-800-647-6558. Good Luck.

Put in an application with the school district. They usually need clerks in the office.

What side of town do you live in., Early Intervention services are available and they will help pick up the therapy costs at a great rate. If he needs sensory integration he will most likely have Occupational and Speech therapy. Let me know where you live and I will get you a number to call.

J., I work fulltime and I know how hard it is to be taking off when you need it or finding a job that will understand your children come first. Mine are all grown up now but I recently found a job that I can work from home or on my own time. Ck out his website: www.thefortunedvd.com
The company is called FHTM Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing. Basically its stores that we shop at everday but you order online, but you get your own website and you pass out business cards to your family and friends with your own website. When they visit you site and order you make a commission and they get rewards accumulated and it goes on a mastercard and they can request that card whenever they want. You can visit my website here so you can see it: www.fhtmus.com/rsalas
I love the concept of this being your own office and even when you order you get a commission off your own order and rewards as well. Ck it out and if this is something you feel you would like to discuss futher then contact me at ____@____.com
We have team meetings and also meet at the comfort Suites on monday nites so you can hear the presentation in person.
Thanks,
and hope you find something soon!
