Nothing more to add to some of the excellent advice you've received here. Just wanted to give you a hug.

Being a parent to ADHD children can leave us feeling overwhelmed-- & it sounds like you have a lot more challenges as well.

Breathe deeply. Take good care. Another hug.

Read the responses to your last post, and if you are hearing things and feeling really bad right now, there is no shame in going to the ER. They treat acute psyciatric issues there and it won't matter what your regular doctor is refusing to do. If you are misserable, go get some help. It is out there. Call and talk to the ER nurses about your problem, they can help to guide you, especially if there is any chance that you are in an emergency situation. No sleep, wacky hormones, being a care giver for ADHD kids, a kid with a headache problem, hearing things...you need to get some real live help.

I'm sorry you're feeling so badly. I think you should listen to all the good advise you are getting on this site. I think since you have been married for 11 years you should be letting your husband in on all this and asking for his help and support. Do you have a sister or a friend or maybe your mom to talk to. Its good to have someone to lean on. I hope you feel better. Please call the Dr and let us know how you're doing.

Hi M.,

Are the meds that your doctor wants to put you on to balance your hormones? If so, once you get them right, you should feel quite a bit better.

As for your bladder, there is a medication that my mom took a while ago that actually causes your bladder to become more elastic so that you can hold your urine a lot longer. Ask your doctor about this. If you can knock this one concern off your list, I'm sure you will feel a little bit better.

Having back and shoulder pain sucks, I know. Have you tried going to see a chiropractor yet? I've gone to one off and on for neck and back pain that occur every once in a while for me. It's amazing how easy it is for him to realign my vertebrae and get me back to feeling like my old self within just a matter of a few visits.

And, for the ADHD, like a number of other moms have suggested, you should address this matter with your physician and a psychiatrist. If you have medical insurance available, please seek out the quality medical care that you need and deserve. You don't have to go this alone.

Blessings.

Maybe it really is a tv, or a radio?
Could your boys be turning something on at night?
Are you close to the neighbor's house that you can hear theirs?
I think you should ask your husband to help you figure it out.

You're not going crazy. You're suffering from sleep deprivation and stress, and probably a few other things. Call your doctor on Monday morning and schedule a complete physical. Make sure you tell him/her everything that is going on.

Look into local support groups for parents of ADHD kids, just having others going through the same thing is Really help full. Find a baby sitter so you and hubby can have sometime together (date night) and when the kids are in school have your health issues looked into. If you are not happy with how your doctor treats you Leave Him and find someone who listens (I go to women only as they at lest have the same body and emotions) going wholistic for you and kids could help with food changes etc
Good Luck and take care of yourself for you and your family

honey, you sound stressed! you are 28...married 11 years and you have 4 boys. Good Lord. That alone would make me hear things. It's time to concentrate on YOU. You need to get some type of counseling and then you need to address all of your problems, one by one. I wish you the best of luck. Also, you didn't mention, but do you get alot of support from your husband? Family? Friends?

please talk with your doctor, you may be depressed and need to see a therapist, someone that can give you some support and strategies to help you parent your boys. ADHD is tough.

If your doctor is not helping you, then you need to see another. Did you tell your doctor about the back and shoulder pain, have it checked out, it could be stress or it could be an injury.

M.,

Your question is a complex one. Several different issues were presented and I suspect they are a symptom of a larger problem. Clearly, you have some psychiatric distress. Whether you are suffering from depression, anxiety or some other illness, can't be solved with a source such as this. I think you would do best to contact your health insurance company and ask for a referral to a local psychiatric clinic. Obviously, this won't solve all your physical complaints, but it may help you to gain some perspective and be better able to cope. I wish you all the best. It sounds like you are going through a difficult time. We all have had those times. Things can get better.

this may be out there , but I have in the past suffered from a condition called "sleep paralysis" and within this state you can hear these loud strange noises people have described these noises in many different ways. but,anyways....it is brought on I think by being sleep deprived, it's like nothing else when you are living it something to think about?
hope things start looking up for you and god bless.

Do you have any fillings in your teeth that would have mercury in them? Meaning the old, silver style fillings? If so, they can actually pick up radio waves which can be transfered up your jaw bone and into your ear. I know it sounds crazy, but I've known this to happen to people I know. It would sound pretty faint I'm told, so it isn't really noticeable during normal daylight hours with all of the noise going on through the day.

Maybe it's something like that?
