I am new to the area and am looking for two or three other mothers of girls who are 3-4 years old. I would love to get together once or twice a week for a playdate. I am flexible on where and when. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I decided to create my own meetup.com group. It's called "Christian SAHM Group" if you are interested! Thanks to all who responded. All of your responses were very helpful.

have you checked out the Richardson moms' clubs? There are two - one for folks East of 75, and one for those west of 75

try the Richardson Community Early Childhood PTA
http://www.rcecpta.com/1.html

Not only will it help you find other families with kids, it will help you learn more about the public schools in your area. We were members of the Lake Highlands Area ECPTA and loved it. They had playgroups set up by age and usually met once or more per week.

Good Luck!

Don't know what your religious views are, but I highly recommend a MOPS (MOthers of Preschoolers) group to get to know some quality people in your area. I am sure that their are several groups near RIchardson. You can go to their website and find local groups. They usually have a meeting once or twice a month at a church with a speaker, food and activity for the moms and child care for the kids. They usually form small play groups with similar age kids. Also, their is probably an Early Childhood PTA in your area, if you don't want to go the church route. These also have outings and play groups. Also you might meet kids your child will go to school and learn about the schools in your area.

A., this is a great age to begin swimming lessons. Once you match up with other moms, please consider swimming lessons at Aqua~Fit. We have warm salt water and great instructors. This is a great age and great time become summer to get a jump start on swimming and safety.
We are located off of 75 and Plano Parkway. Parents can put together their own groups or join another group.
Welcome!
