Hi there, my hubbie and I are planning a babymoon. Any ideas on where to go that won't be too expensive? We've tossed around the idea of CA but that's about it. Any creative ideas are welcome!
If you are looking for inexpensive, you could go camping in Northern Arizona where it is cooler, go to Sedona and get one of the cheaper hotels, or stay in a bed and breakfast in Jerome. Rocky Point (4 hours drive) is also a really nice option for a cheaper vacation close to the beach. You can just search on google for any of these things.
Is this for before the baby is born or after? If before how about a 3 or 4 day cruise to Mexico out of San Diego or LA. How about San Fransico? I like the Northern Arizona idea. We go all the time. You could rent a cabin around Flagstaff or north of Flagstaff.

Have you considered northern Az, southern AZ. or New Mexico, particulary Taos, NM? I have a book called "Weekend for Two in the Southwest". This time of year is a really nice time to visit NM or other parts of Az. Here are a few places I found to be very romantic.
