What you need to get is an Antiperspirant and not a deodorant. Try to see if you can get one that contains Aluminum Chloride, the ingredient prescribed by Dermatologists to patients with excessive perspiration.
Hi, ladies! At the risk of sounding "unlady like" and gross, I need some help conquering my perspiration problem. My daughter is almost 7 months old, and since she's been born, I've noticed that I sweat more, mainly just my underarms. I didn't have trouble with this with my first daughter, so this is all new to me. I have tried half a dozen deodorants to no avail and was considering that new Secret clinical. Has anyone tried it? Can anyone recommend other brands to try? Some of my favorite shirts are stained under the arms now, so I'm also working on getting those out. It just feels so blech, and I welcome any and all suggestions. Thanks so much!

Hi C., I had the same issue when my daughter was born. I asked my doctor and he said that it was a hormone issue. I know that I was taking a couple of showers a day for a few months. I use a natural deoderants. Tom's of Maine and Arm and Hammer carry a natural deoderant. I hope this helps. Good luck.
Try the lady speed stick. It smells good and does a pretty good job with the sweat factor. It's an antiperspirant not just a deodorant.
I also had this problem after the birth of my daughter. It is starting to get better and she is 14 months old. I use Dove cool cucumber and I felt it worked great. I also have the stains in my shirts, but I thought it was from the deodorants. If you figure a way to get the stains out let me know. I have a mommy group on meetup.com called Beautiful Babes & Modern Moms, check it out see if it is something you would be interested in. I hope the sweat issue improves over time as it did for me.
