A nice pedatrician with a friendly staff who accepts medicaid. I am willing to drive a little ways if I can't find one in the Seminole area.

What can I do next?

We have an awesome pediatrician's group in St. Pete (about 20 min) - I have been using the same group since my oldest was a baby and she's now almost 27 - and I still use them for my other kids, ages 19-11. They are wonderful!
Cordes, Patranella& Winkler, P.A. located at 2855 5th Ave N in St. Pete. They are a large, all female group (I think there are 5 or 6 Drs there) and just awesome.
The phone number is ###-###-#### Good luck!

All three of my kids (13, 3, 11 mo) go to Dr. Jeth Saloman of Saloman Pediatrics. It is right across the street from St Pete General. He is fairly young and very knowledgable about current information and practices. We really love him.

Hi A.,

Welcome to the area! I know several moms who go to Dr. Cano's office and are very happy with them. They accept Medicaid, too.

I agree with Kim I have been taking my children there since they were born and love it. The staff is great and my son is 6 and my 19mo old daughter do not give me a hard time to go to the doctors. They also have an entire network of doctors also the 49th St location is open on the weekends. Try them out. Good Luck

I take my kids to the St. Pete Peds in Seminole. The staff is friendly. If it weren't for them I would have never found out that my son had a heart murmer (sp?) which led to a visit to the pediatric cardiologist, where they told me he had bicuspid aorta. All this happened literally just before he had his tonsil and adnoids removed. It was a blessing, because if they hadn't have found that and he wasn't seen I would have not known that when he goes to have any thing done at the dentist AND when he had his tonsils removed that he needed to have a major dose of antibiotics to keep his heart safe.

They have a Nurse practitioner and a Doctor there. And if they are busy then you can see any of the doctors in the practice all over the county.

Call them. ###-###-####.

Hope this helps!

My daughter (9 year old) goes to Dr. Shayne Gadea. If Dr. Gadea is not available I would recommend Dr. Lee as well. She is a woman and has a very nice office staff. I don't know if they accept Medicaid, but I'm sure if you called them and asked they would readily be able to tell you. They are located at 10099 Seminole Blvd Ste A3. Seminole, FL 33772. In Clearwater, we use Myrtle Ave Pediatrics. They are great with the kids, are a well oiled machine, so waiting is usually not an issue. There are a few pediatricians and they all get to know all of the patients. We have been pleased. Just not sure about the Medicaid thing, call and check it out. ###-###-####

He's not far. I live in Seminole, too.
Call and see if they accept Medicaid.
The staff is nice and so is the Dr. We've been with him since Andrew was a few months old. I'm pretty picky and I like him.

St.Petersburg Pediatrics. I have a five year old and a 2 year old. Dr.Cibran ###-###-####. They have several locations but he is the doctor we choose to see. Never have we felt like a number. He knows ours kids by site. Awesome, awesome doctor. Of course he has nurse practioners and other doctors working for him, but he is the best. I always ask for him.
