Pediatrician in Roseville

This will depend on your health plan. If you have Kaiser, we like Dr. Rodney Barron. He's really sweet with our kids and makes the extra effort. For example, we were leaving on a flight out of state the next day, when our daughter was sent home from daycare with a huge rash. He was booked but fit us in between appts. (ended up just being hives, but I really appreciated his effort just in case it was serious).

When we were out of Kaiser, our oldest saw Dr. Fern Takemoto near Mercy San Juan in Carmichael (a quick drive from Roseville). She's really petite and not threatening at all to kids. Our son really liked her and so did we. Very open minded about approaches to parenting -- for instance, didn't get on our case because we chose formula feeding.

I love Dr Jim Cafarella at Rocklin Pediatrics. I have 3 children that see him. He has been our only pediatrician. I love that he always spends lots of time with us during our appointments and is prompt in returning any phone calls. He is very knowledgable and comprehensive. His office offers a warm, friendly environment that my children always enjoy going to. Good luck in your decision.

Dr. Cerny is a great pediatrician at Kaiser in Roseville. Her office is located on Sierra Gardens Drive in Roseville behind the now-closed Mervyn's.

Dr. James Day is THE BEST! his # is ###-###-#### and located on Douglas and East RSV Parkway. He is like an old time Dr. he returns calls himself, and takes all the time he needs to take care of your child. PS DONT see Dr. Warsoe he's in the same building...
