We are nearing our delivery date and am wondering if anyone has had any experience with Edina Pediatrics. Their office is beautiful and the DRS and staff seem amazing. This is our first child, any recommendations would be appreciated.
Congratulations! I have not been to Edina Pediatrics, but we go to Southdale Pediatrics, also in Edina (just off of France Avenue). I've been extremely pleased with them, particularly Dr. Bodine. My son has had some breathing issues that landed him in the hospital, and they handled it wonderfully. Dr. Bodine is very proactive; he tells you what he would do, but lets you make the decision (no pressure). Good luck!
My daughter is 18 and we have gone to Edina Peds since she was 5. I love it. The staff has been great. We never decided on just one doctor, so she has seen pretty much everyone and I have no compliants.
We have gone to Edina Peds for years. I think Dr. Vicki Thomson is the best. She has won so many awards for quality of care. She is amazing. She is so kind. She may come off a little frank at first, but give her a chance. She has a heart of gold and truly cares about her patients. She recently attended my niece's graduation party last weekend (my SIL referred us to EPEDS) and of course, Dr. Thomson came. She came home early from her lake home to honor my niece. She brought her the sweetest card and a thoughtful gift. It is just the kind of pediatrician she is. She builds lasting relationships with her patients. We love her. She is amazing.
I absolutely recommend Edina Pediatrics. Dr. Thomson and Dr. Wengler are wonderful. They are the best. Their new nurse practitioner Janette is great, too. I agree that their office staff is friendly and that their new location is amazing. They also have an urgent care clinic that they staff with actual doctors on evenings and weekends next door. Great for working and busy moms. We have been going there since our daughter was born six years ago. We love Edina Peds! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
