I'm looking for a good pediatric dentist in the Apple Valley/Rosemount/Lakeville area? I've driven past Children's Dental Care off of cedar and Dodd. Has anyone gone to them or know of anyone who does? If so, do they like them. This will be my first time taking my son and i want it to be a good experience. (as good as it can be going to a dentist,lol)
My girlfriend just took her kids to a dentist off of Lexington in Eagan. She RAVES about it! If it's not too far to drive, I can get the info for you.
We take my 2 year old son to dentistry for children and adolescents in Burnsville. It is right off of 42 and Nicolett behind TJ Maxx. They are wonderful!!! The waiting room has a whole playroom and a fish tank. The exam rooms are fun and the have fun little toys around to amuse your kids while they wait for the dentist. For my son's 1st check they let him do a lap to lap where he didn't sit in the dentist chair bc he was too scared so they let me hold him facing me and then lay his head on the dentists lap. They seemed to know every trick to calming him down and making him feel comfortable. They also let the kids pick out a toothbrush and a toy at the end. There are a bunch of dentists working there so it is really easy to get in too. There Burnsville number is ###-###-####. Hope that helps!!!
My daughter goes to Metropolitan Pediatric Dental in Eagan. We love it there. They're located behind Walmart off of Pilot Knob area. If you need the phone number let me know. I've seen kids go in to get teeth pulled and fillings and come out laughing and smiling. I was in shock they had such a great experiance.
I use the Childrens Dental Care in Savage and love them. I just took my daughter in for the first time. She was so scared but did pretty well and they didnt push her to do anything she didnt want to. My son loves going there. We see Dr Brent. i highly recommend them. Good Luck!
Another vote for Dentistry for Children and Adolescents! We've had nothing but great experiences there...the kids even get to wear sunglasses during the exam so the bright light doesn't bother their eyes. They have offices in Edina, Burnsville and Woodbury (I think).

It's not immediately in your area, but I can't say enough good things about Dr. Elgethun at Dentistry for Children and Adolescents in Edina, on France avenue. He was the third dentist we went to when my daughter was a toddler and had tooth decay. He was by far the best!
