Vaseline is not the best idea.
They make lubricants and suppositories that lubricate for a couple of days. I would try that. They are more water based and rinse out of your body more easily.
I had terrible female problems and I was told NEVER to use vaseline.
It's petroleum based, doesnt break down and can stay in your body.
They have a whole aisle for that stuff at the drug store.
I had a hysterectomy very young and the suppositories worked great for me. They didnt leak but they lasted a couple days. My husband never even knew the difference when I used one.
Best wishes.
Try Vaseline/Petroleum Jelly.
It is hypoallergenic, so it shouldn't irritate you or him.
I wish you the best.

Arbonne's Prolief is great for both men and women and it is all Natural so there are no side effects. It also enhances the pleasure. You can order right from my web site so it will ship right to you. I started using this for Migraines and little did I know it has so many uses. Email me for more info and my web site.

astroglide. it is the best one. you can get it on amazon 5 oz bottles in a two pack for 14$ if you sign up for subscribe and save. just sign up and then cancel. astroglide is the only one that "thin" and not sticky. two bottles will last you forever. I buy mine once every few years. I just ordered some yesterday and the last time was before my two year old was born.
Amazon is good for adult stuff because they have reviews and it can be shipped to your door. most of it has free shipping. I am a big supporter of not going to a store if I can get in from amazon. last mo i saved a few hundred dollars by not going to target for every little thing that I needed. i have a habit of going for one item and coming home with 100$ + worth of stuff I didn't need.
Don't use anything petroleum based--it can trap bacteria in and let them fester...Use a water based lube. We prefer astroglide (be careful! a little goes a VERY long way :) ), but KY jelly is good as well.
KY is the standard treatment most women use.

I'm a big fan of the KY massage/ touch two in one warming sensation! The thing i hate about lubricant is that its cold and slimmy and not sexy! Warm and slimy on the other hand, not so bad.
