I have read some posts on this product and I have the opportunity to try it for free. My questions are do you always work out an hour a day (I know they say to)? How many days on average did you use it? and what are your overall results? Pounds lost, size x to size x and how long did it take? I'm currently not working and I'd like to get back to where I was 5+ years ago. I'm at my prepregnancy weight before both kids but I have a long way to go.

So What Happened?

Thanks for all of your feedback. I started on P90X today, wow! Wish me luck. I will send a post at 30 days to let everyone know how much I've lost. I'm looking forward to the results.

I have not used the program although I've heard amazing things about it. I am a member of myfitnesspal.com and tons of the users there use the program. If you don't find the answer you are looking for on here you can join myfitnesspal (it's free) and I'm sure you will find your answer there. They also have a lot of groups that do the program together (so to speak) and share their stories and support each-other, etc.
Best of luck and have fun with the program

I just finished the first 2 weeks and already feel stronger. Haven't dropped any pounds but think that is because I am building muscle first. Thw workouts are very intense, and between 60-75 minutes with the yoga at 90 mins, and I am actually saving some time because I don't have to go to/from the gym. I think what will keep me going is keeping up with my husband, he works out in the morning and I go in the evening but it's almost like working out together because we talk about what was easy/hard and of course I don't want to fall behind. This motivation is portant because the workouts are hard, you will be sore, and at least I need an extra reason to pop in the DVD and push myself. I haven't achieved the results I want yet but I have 11 weeks to go and know I'm on the right track. Good luck!

P90X is wonderful. My brother and I started the program last year in april and were done in june. Working out 1 hour a day with p90x gave me alot of energy. It was hard adjusting in the begining but after a week or so became so routine. This program requires a great deal of disipline. It is not easy by any means but it is totally worth it.. my results were great.. I lost inches everywere... I just recently gave birth (feb22) and not only have a lost all my baby weight 23 pounds... I have told people i feel my stomch has come right back to were it was b/c of p90x... Great program.. Tony will become your best friend!!!!

I am currently doing P90X and have already seen results. Not only is my upper, lower, and core strength better but I'm losing that "spare tire" and my energy is higher.

Form is really key doing this program. If you don't use good form you can hurt yourself. Tony does show modified moves for most of the exercises. Sometimes they move too fast but just slow it down until you are ready to keep up with them.

It does require discipline but once you figure out the flow you can make it work with your daily routine. If you are really out of shape I recommend starting with his "lean" program and then moving into the "classic" program. Good luck and have fun!

Thank you for posting this. I literally just got on mamapedia to ask the same question. I hope you get lots of responses. I plan on starting the program in a few weeks & hope for some great results. Maybe we can be long distant work out buddies, lol.

I have a bunch of friends that have been doing this for the last year or more and they all love it. I think if you have the self motivation and will to do it you will be happy.
