Ovarian Cysts (Sp?)

You need to find an OB Gyn you can talk to candedly. Ovarian Cysts are really similar to having a cold sore on your mouth. They grow fill with puss and burst. I am 41 years old and now have has a hystorectomy from the Cysts and Endometreosis. (I hope I spelled that right. I always have to look it up). I have been having Cysts since I was a teenager and the pain got to difficult to bare, so hence the surgery. Your own personal doctor can tell you the degree as to what you need to do and not do. I did have a beautiful 10 lbs baby boy 16 years ago, so it did not inhibit pregnancy.

I cannot stress hard enough to find a physician to talk to though. Today there are medicines to place you on to help with the Cysts so they are not so hard to manage. You do not have to go through the pain that those of us older than you have had to endure.

I had an Ovarian Cyst erupt when I was 14. I sympathize with your pain. I just successfully had a beautiful little girl. She is very healthy. As far as I know it does affect the ovaries provided that you are not having complications with your menstrual cycle.

NO this will not keep you from haveing kids i had one to do that and i have since had 2 boys 5,1... But with the 1yr old i had one when i was prego and it cause alot of probs i had him 6 weeks early and then after i had him i had to have the whole
ovari took out and that now has caused more trouble then before i have only had one period in a yr so it's just been crazy if u get them often talk to you OB GYN and theres meds you can take to keep from getting them good luck

I have cysts on a regular basis, started when I was in high school. One of the cysts grew with my pregnancy to 17cm across. I have FOUR kids. Don't worry. Sorry about it, though... those suckers HURT!

I had ovarian cysts rupture often before I got pregnant. I was on birth control pills to help control it. Well I still got them, but was told it wouldn't be as bad with them. I got off of the pills and a month later got pregnant with twins!!! From what I understand as long as your ovaries are still healthy you can still get pregnant. I would think it would have had to been a pretty big cysts to have ruptured in order to have done any damage. Your gyno feels around on your ovaries when you have annuals. You can also ask to have a ultra sound if your too worried before you do try to conceive again.

Hi, I had that happen about 12 years ago (not while moving though) and I do have a son now who is 6 yrs old. I am to ignorant to tell you what causes that but, surely it won't affect you having children. Good Luck, J.

Believe it or not.. if things are working the way they are meant to.. you will have a cyst rupture EVERY ovulation. The egg will start making its way out of the ovary ( creating a small cyst) and will finally burst in order to release it into the fallopian tube. It can be painful, and sometimes I swear that I can feel it happen.
I have had two recent vaginal ultrasounds for this and was surprised to find out really how thing work.

I have had ovarian cysts since my teens. When I was about 19 I had one rupture which caused alot of pain, but other than that had no ill effects or fertility problems. I know everyone is different, but that is my personal experience with them.

I had an ovarian cyst rupture about 6 years ago. What pain huh? I didn't know at first what was happening to me and went to 2 er's before they figured it out. I would recommend getting in for an ultrasound with your doctor to see if there are any more. Depending on what they find you can try some natural remedies. I wound up having to have surgery to remove a large one that turned out to be a pre-malignant tumor. They took my ovary too, because the tumor had basically strangled it. For a long time I was afraid I would not be able to get pregnant with only one ovary, but I am now the mother of a beautiful 9 month old girl. I have no signs of any more tumors and I am grateful that they caught it when they did. All this to say, go see your doctor and try not to worry, you should be fine.

I had a cyst to rupture and have cysts remaining on my ovaries...I have had 2 children since then with no problems conceiving...

I HAVE REALLY BAD CYSTS AS WELL. MINE HAD BURST A COUPLE YEARS AGO BUT, I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG. I COULDN'T EVEN LAUGH MY BODY HURT SO BAD. FINALLY, I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AND THATS WHEN HE TOLD ME MY CYSTS BURST. MY BLOOD COUNT GOT DOWN TO 17.

AS OF RIGHT NOW I HAVE A 8 YR OLD AND ONE THAT WILL BE HERE ANYDAY NOW. BUT, TO GET THIS ONE THE DOCTOR PUT ME ON GLUCOPHAGE. THEY TOLD ME I HAD (PCOS) POLY CYSTIC OVARY SYNDROME. MY MOM WAS SO SHOCKED BECAUSE GLUCOPHAGE IS A DIABETIC MEDICINE. I WAS PREGNANT IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS.
