Dr. Robert Robbins in Clarkston is geat. Two of my girlfriends and I see him and we all agree he takes his time answering any questions, not rushing you, etc.
I don't know if he is taking new patients, give his office a call. ###-###-####, He is affiliated with St. Joseph Mercy Oakland.
I did once see another Dr. in his office and I did not care for him. Dr. Jewell.
Dr. Zaiden is a gem of a doctor. Patient, personable, easy going and thorough. I absolutly love him. I know he is out of St. Joe's but I'm not sure about Huron Valley. Every time I go in to see him he remembers me by face even if it's been a year between visits. His staff is great, too. He has a physicians assistant you could see for routine stuff and a midwife if you choose to go that way. He's also got the blood draw center and ultrasound equipment right in the office so you don't have to go anywhere to get tests done. He is equipped to do proceedures in office as well. I'm sure he'd probably be happy to do an interview if you'd like, too.

I would also like to give a "thumbs up" to Dr. Robbins as well as Dr. Paul Corsi (who is also in the same practice) I personnally favor Dr. Corsi (he has delivered my last 3 children (I have 4) 2 were VBAC's and 1 was an emergency C-section.) Dr. Corsi likes to answer questions and make sure you are fully informed. And he was strongly in my corner to try a second VBAC after having 2 C-sections (I had one Dr. in that practice tell me that I was selfish for attempting such a thing... but that Dr. is no longer in that practice!) But I have also had Dr. Robbins and think he is fabulous. I share the lukewarm feeling about Dr. Jewel he's a good and competent Dr... just not real warm and chatty like Dr. Corsi and Dr. Robbins.
They are out of St. Joes but I don't believe they are affiliated with Huron Valley. Here is their website:

Walnut Lake OBGYN is great. They are located on Haggerty and Walnut Lake Road. Donna Lyons is my first choice and Alan Goldsmith is my second Choice. They are a husband and wife team. Alan has previlages at Huron Valley Sini. Donna is a nurse practioner with a great bed side manner.
