We just moved to the FW area (live in Hurst but work on the west side of FW)and I would love to find an OBGYN that is affiliated with Baylor All Saints because I have heard great things about the new Women's wing.

You are the second mommy I sent this response to. Tis the season to be fertile....
I am a doula in the area and have delivered several babies with the Downtown Baylor, Andrews Nurse Midwives Center. Baylor is an awesome hospital and the nurses are great. The nurse midwives at the Andrews Womens' Hospital are great! Feel free to call them yourself at ###-###-####. Please tell them N. from the Birthing Project referred you. You will not be disappointed by the services or the quality of care they offer. Nurse Brenda, Nurse Nancy Jo, Nurse Sharon, and the other midwives are top shelf. Nurse Sharon delivered my 4 1/2 yo son, Nurse Brenda recently delivered my great-nephew in early October and Nurse Nancy Jo delivered my neice 4 weeks ago. I refer all my mommies without prenatal OB's to them and give them 2 thumbs up for service and care. They are truly an awesome team.
I love Larry Tatum--my doc. Also love Tracy Poppa--both in that new building.
Dr. Larry Tatum or Dr. Watson are both great! They are very passionate about what they do!!! Dr. Tatum is one that opened up Andrews!
You may try Dr. Charles G. Langham III. He's in the Medical Building right across the street. He delivered my two children. As of March of this year he is no longer delivering, so he may be taking new clients. He's great! Their number is ###-###-####.
Dr. Herd delivered my first child he is wonderful. I had to change doctors because he no longer takes BCBS. Dr. Laura Bradford delivered my second child and I love her!!! I am not sure if she is taking new patients. Sometimes she will take new pregnant patients if your due date falls in months where she does not have a lot of preg. patients. She delivers 90% of her babies so you might wait a long time to see her, but she is well worth it.
Dr James P Herd is wonderful. He delivered my twins three year ago. He actually offices in the medical building right there.
Dr. Read with Texas Health Care delivered both of my children. He has an office on the corner of Rufe Snow and Grapevine Hwy in Richland Hills and also offices out of Baylor downtown. He and his nurses are awesome. I do have to wait a while sometimes. The number is ###-###-####. Good Luck.
There are many good physicans that deliver there. personally i don't believe in mid-wives when you have physicians. I wanted a professional who can deal with all aspect of delivery. Not a nurse that has to get a doctor to cover for them, and need physicians supervision. And the argument to go to a midwife because they don't induce, or do episiotomy is not correct. I think a good communication is what worked for me. Not a middle level care giver. Drs Atkin, gardner, Glenn......all at Texas health care.
Dr Peter Irwin all the way! I love love love him and all of his staff! He delivered my 3 year old and will be delivering my next due in may. He is affiliated with baylor all saints but the citview locaation which i loved because basically all they do there is babies. ###-###-####
Dr. Read is also my doctor. He delivered both of my children. I would agree with the previous poster, he and his nurses are wonderful!
I went with the Andrew's midwife center. 1650 W Magnolia ste 204. ###-###-####. they do have a ob/gyn that they report to.
Call them and get a referral or even set up to meet them. There is also a ob/gyn office in the building on the east side of the parking garage. 1250 W magnolia is the address.
Everything was right in one area, midwife, sonogram, hospital, parking *free*.
I give the midwives 2 thumbs up. And Baylor too.
Easy to get too as well.
I-30 to either Rosedale, to 8th st *go south*. Signs with arrows are really visible at Baylor.

you have a lot of good recommendations. My sister and neice use Dr. Tatum that was mention above...he actually delivered my neice which is kind of neat that she uses him now. I love Dr. Douglas Decker ###-###-####). He is in the same practice as Dr. Read that was mentioned as well. The 2 office locations are nice. I just saw him at the Andrews Women's Wing and had a surgery there earlier this year. And it is so updated and nice. Dr. The people are very friendly as well. Dr. Decker is wonderful. Everything is computerized so you don't have to keep telling your life story each time you go back. He actually takes the time to talk "with" you; instead of "to" you or "at" you. I have 4 other friends in my circle that use him. Good Luck!!
Laura Bradford is wonderful!! She's off Terrell Ave in Ft. Worth and delivers at Baylor and Harris.
