I am looking for an OBGYN at Kaiser Santa Teresa. I have chosen this hospital mainly because it is close to my residence and my stepdaughters doctors are at this facility. I am excited to announce I am expecting and now need an OBGYN ASAP. I would like a doctor who is honest, good bed side manner and is comfortable to speak with. Anyone have any recommendations?

I have come to love my Nurse Practitioner, Cynthia Liu. She has a very peaceful presence, easy to open up to and listens well (I heard some of the notes she took after an appt and was impressed with the detail). She also is very accomadating, making it easy to understand treatment options and what is best for the patient as a whole person.

Hello and a big CONGRATULATIONS!!! I delivered there VBAC and I was truly impressed. I tried different people including one of those mentioned/recommended but we were not too comfortable. You should trust your intuition. Look on the Kaiser website for the Profiles of each Dr. and go from there. Good luck!
Dr Shaff is awesome. I felt so comfortable with her. Melanie Jordan is a midwife there too and delivered my first two babies.
