I have done both. The food with Nutrisystems is awful. Jenny Craig food is SOOOOO good. It does help to have someone hold you accountable too. It's an investment initially, but the annual renewal is like $39 and totally worth it.
Need opinions from people who have used either of these systems.
Thanks

Hi B.,
I have lott 16 lbs and kept it off, go to http://foryourhealth.reliv.com and check the weight managment supplements. You loose the weight while geeting the best nutrition for your body to function at the max.
Best withses!
I highly recommend MediWeightLoss Clinic. I was very, very overweight adn I've tried just about everythign. However, MediWeightLoss worked for me. You eat real food that you make yourself, no pre packages stuff. I've lsot 60 lbs., which is a huge feat for me. It's a really great program. Basically, it's really high protein adn very low carb. I like the fact tha everythign is spelled out for you adn they even supply you with a shopping list. You have to take a multivitam, omega, calcium and it includes a biweekly b12 shot too. It's the most whole body approach I've seen.

B., as a full-time working mom with two little ones either of these may be a good option for you. They are fast and convenient and you don't have to worry about cooking (at least for yourself). If you are the type of person who does better if you have to be accountable to another person and can afford it, Jenny Craig may be the way to go. The food is mostly frozen meals with some fresh added. Nurtisystem provides the convenience part but truthfully I only know a few people who could tolerate the food. Everyone has their own set of personal preferences so you might want to see if you can get a sample to taste. I goofed up by buying way too much and ended up throwing most of it out. You probably already know whether you have the time, energy and mind-set to do Weight Watchers. I didn't because my life was so busy that cooking, figuring out Points and all that jazz was simply more than I had time to fool with. What worked for me was to plan some easy, healthy low-cal meals and then rotate them. I didn't have to think much about it (buying or eating) and the weight came off slowly and steadily. Everyone is different so you will need to figure out what works for you, do a little investigating, then go for the food plan that fits you the best. If something doesn't work out as expected or hoped you can always try something else. The main thing is to keep at it until you are successful. One thing that helps tremendously is to do some form of physical activity at least every other day. Walking is great, going to the gym, whatever works for YOU! Best of luck with whatever you decide to do.
Please Google these companies...you will find out that in the beginning, two couples started Jenny Craig...couples had a falling out, business was seperated and Nutrisystem was born...They are for all intents and purposes the same, but have different marketing strategies...
I used Jenny Craig, loved it, loved the food, loved the weekly classes and one on one counseling, in the end I looked great and felt great...please visit a location for each and see which one gives you warm fuzzies...my best bud did Nutrisystem and she had just as good of praise for them as well...I think it is a personal choice, good luck and have fun!
I can't even believe anyone thinks Nutrisystem and Jenny Craig are basically the same. I've done both and Nutrisystem food was so bad, I gagged, literally. The Jenny Craig food tastes awesome, but was pricey. If you cna afford it, it's great, but the least expensive option is Weight Watchers.
I tried Jenny Craig a long time ago. It can get very expensive. The food is fine if you like eating frozen meals all the time. Plus you have to buy lots of fruit and vegetables in addition. Once I was eating a chicken sloppy joe from Jenny Craig and I bit into something hard. It was a piece of a toothpick. Kinda turned me off from that point. I agree with the previous post, Weight Watchers is much cheaper and you can eat your own food. It's more about changing your lifestyle, which WW teaches you to do. Once you get off of Jenny Craig or NurtriSystem, you are no longer eating that food and you gain your weight back. It's better to learn to make healthy choices from the beginning.
I did jenny Craig after I had my son and really liked it. The food is not bad and you get to know the good ones. You do have to meet a counselor once a week and spend the money on the food, but I just bought less at the store. The key is to walk or do some type of workout too. I would walk in the morning. I lost inches more than weight and was back to a 27 in no time.
Neither! People think losing weight is very difficult. Really it is not.
1. Make up your mind that you will succeed this time.
2. Find a "diet" method you think makes the most sense (I recommend the "Zone".)
3. Make it happen. Read the book. Make your shopping list. Exericse.
I think systems like Nutrisystem and Jenny Craig are WAY overpriced for something you can do at home. After all, if you are ready, you will accomplish it no matter where you are. Good luck, and feel free to message me.
Haven't tried either but wanted to recommend Weight Watchers if you haven't tried it already....it is much more economical and you can eat what your family eats (as long as you are cooking a little more healthy, of course!) It's a great program and works beautifully if you stay committed. Best wishes on your future weight loss!
