Nursing Tank Referals?

I'm looking for some opinions on nurisng tanks. I just want to wear them under my long sleeve tops to avoid baring my mid-drift in public when I pull up my top to nurse. I've looked at Glamourmoms, Bravadas, Target's Gillian & O'Malley's, The Gap online tank, and Motherhood Maternity's. Any other brands out there? I prefer one a bit longer as I have a long torso. Thanks!

What can I do next?

Hi A.,
I bought 2 Motherhood Maternity tanks and 1 Bravado. Skip the Motherhood ones and get 3 Bravados! The Motherhood straps are very flimsy and I felt little support and much cleavage showing when I wore them. The Bravados are much stronger.

I love the Target ones. They are all I wore for 12 weeks!

Not sure about how much this will help, but I can tell what I DON'T think works well: the Target brand you mentioned. I got one after several people recommended it and I didn't like it at all. I thought it was uncomfortable and wasn't easy to undo with one hand. I use Bravado nursing bras and love them. I also use Lansinoh pads; I found they show through tighter shirts less than other brands. Good luck!

This isn't actually a tank, but check out the Bella Band. They have them at the Doula shop (http://www.doulashop.com). They're designed to be a multi-purpose pregnancy and nursing "device" to help you wear your own pants longer, keep maternity pants from riding down, and make you more comfortable. The bonus is that you can wear them under a shirt when you're nursing to keep from exposing your tummy. Very cool. I'm only 14 weeks along with our second, so I just ordered a couple this week and can't give personal experience. The online reviews were good. Happy Shopping!

I have Target, Bravado and Mimi Materntiy. Get the Bravado. I also HIGHLY recommend the LilyPadz nursing pads. I nurse my 10 month old twins (haven't needed formula) and am in the HOME STRETCH.....

I can only comment on the Glamourmom and the Bravados because I've owned those two and don't have experience with the other brands. I loved the Bravado ones! Very supportive and gave me good torso coverage. The Glamormom one was the regular nursing tank and it was ok, but it was not as supportive for my build. I usually just wore it to bed at night because of that.

Also, with both the Bravado and the Glamourmom I always felt 'covered' when lifting my top to nurse.

I hope you find a great one for you..good luck!

I'm not impressed with much from Motherhood Maternity, so I would skip them. Everything I've had of theirs falls apart quickly. Target as well. If it is something you will ise a lot, it is usually worth putting more money into.
