No One Can Help Me?

I am sorry I didn't respond to your request, i actually have been meaning to when i first saw it, but had to leave the office. I am a social worker that works very closely with CPS. I dont understnad why they took away your children with just the babysitters statement, they should have done an investigation (search the home, talk to the parents, talk to the children) before they take a child away from the home. CPS also comes up with a plan to return the chidlren to the home (believe it or not, their main goal IS to return the children to their home). Cooperate with CPS and the request they are suggesting (parenting classes, counseling). If you need a lawyer or any other resource, dial 211 on your phone and you will be connected the First Call For Help and they are a referral agency that can give you phone numbers of any type of assistance that you need. Ask for the Volunteer Lawyer Program, they are an agency of lawyers that hear the story and then one volunteers to represent you. Go to the courts ask them for a court appointed atterney....they have to give you one if you ask for it...The atterney will fight on your behalf they have to..

Hello S., my name is V. and I live in Fort Wayne also...I know that when I was looking for a Lawyer here in town for personal reasons everyone is very costly....I am so very sorry to here about what has happened with your children that is very sad....I tell ya my husband always says "you can't trust too many people". and for this lady to lie and the cps to know that,that is so very wrong. I do know that a friend of mine(that went thur a divorce many years ago) found a lawyer on Tennessee Ave that was very very cheap almost nothing to help her. They help people like you that can not afford a lawyer. I am not sure tha name or anything maybe you could drive by there to even see if they are even there anymore,like I said that was many years ago. I am sorry I don't know the name of the place I wish I could be more help. I reallyhope everything works out please keep me up to date.
