Glad to hear it!
I remember when I was working as a preschool psychologist there was a family in the process of an evaluation because the nearly two-year old child was not speaking. The speech pathologist and I went to do a home visit and noticed that the older siblings talked "for" the child, thus making it an unnecessary skill. While we were there, the father came in very upset because the kids had left their bikes in the driveway and said something about taking them away. Immediately the two year old shouted "No, Daddy! It wasn't me!" Hmm... I guess she had those skills, but didn't need to use them before then!!
Kids develop unevenly and often "as needed". Just an observation, but something to keep in mind!!
You should add a question here or they will pull this!
